Cherry never had any previous interest in men. A dog named Lucky lived on the island of Sunrise, but despite the other residents suggestions, she wasn't interested in him.
In fact, Cherry had never had any romantic interests whatsoever. She wasn't sure if she was gay or straight, or even ace.
That all changed when Goldie moved in. After Flurry moved out, the plot was quickly filled by someone named Goldie. Cherry wanted to be friendly, of course, she welcomed all new villagers who moved onto Sunrise. She was one of the first residents after all.
The morning of Goldie's arrival came, and Cherry eagerly knocked on her door. Cherry was greeted by the sight of a golden dog with the sweetest face and the most adorable little eyes. Cherry froze, she hand't expected her new neighbor to be that pretty.
"Uh, Hello. I'm Cherry. Welcome to Sunrise." Cherry said.
"Hello." Goldie said smiling.
Frick, she even sounds cute. Cherry thought.
"Is there anything I could help you with?" Cherry said.
"Oh, I don't think so." Goldie said shaking her head. "But thanks for the offer!"
Cherry smiled. "Alright, well when you're done unpacking knock on my door and I can give you a tour." She said. Cherry would point towards her house. "I live there."
"Thank you! You seem so sweet!" Goldie said. Cherry felt the heat rise in her face.
"Ah- Thank you. You seem sweet too." Cherry smiled. Goldie waved and shut the door. Cherry turned away from the door and hid her face and internally screamed.
Hopefully no one say me freeze up like that. She thought.
Little did she know, Raymond say everything.
