(Army's POV)

I never liked Aloha from the start.

From the first S4 meeting I hated his loud energetic personality. I never accepted any of his party invites, despite his begging and the immense amount of invitations. I've let him know countless times that I did not wish to be friends. But he still kept trying.

I would never imagine growing fond of him.

I found there were days where I was debating going to one of his parties, I found I had started laughing at his jokes. In general, I found myself wanting to hang out with him. 

And that's what I was doing now.

I was sitting on the couch writing in my manual while Aloha scrolled Squidstagram. He had an impressive amount of followers, being a member of the S4 and the amount of parties he's hosted are a huge factor. It amazes me how he can handle all of that.

Or at least, I thought he could.

"Army!" Aloha shouts suddenly. I jump in surprise.

"Don't yell like that." I scold.

"Sorry, I'm just stressed." He says.

I raise an eyebrow. "You? Stressed?" 

Aloha either doesn't hear me or ignores me, because he just continues.

"My Valentine's party is coming up and Mask keeps telling me that I need to bring a date so I look good and I guess that makes sense, but the thing is I don't know who to pick! I don't want someone who goes out with me because of my looks or my fame! I want someone who truly get's me, you know? But my party is in two days and I don't have time to message everyone in my contacts and figure out who to go with and-"

"I'll be your date." I say suddenly interrupting him. I cover my mouth with my hands. 

Why did I say that?

"You- wha?" Aloha says.

"You heard what I said." I say sternly.

"Really?" Aloha says beaming.

I nod. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a bad idea.

"Thank you, Army! You're seriously the best!" Aloha says hugging me in excitement. I feel my face grow hot and my heart flutter.

"You're welcome." I say simply.

My manual doesn't have any info on this kind of feeling.

Maybe one of my teammates knows?
