"Thanks! Come again!" Patton waved to the lady who had just walked out of the store. Patton was a 24 year old boy. He was short, round, had rounded glasses, blonded-brown curly hair, lots of freckles, and two different colored eyes. One was a deep sapphire blue, the other was a more of a sky blue. Patton was a very kind guy, he stood up for others, he was cute, and it was easy to be friends with him. 'Hmm... I wonder if he is off work yet...' Patton pulled out his phone and texted a friend who went by 'Virgil'. Just as he sent the message, the small bell above the door rang, as a new customer walked in and looked around the record store. "Hello! Let me know if you need anything." Patton looked at the stranger and smiled a big smile. The stranger then walked up to the counter and met eyes with Patton.

"Hello, I was wondering if you had any Patsy Cline vinyls?" The stranger asked Patton. "Uh... yes! I'll help you find them." Patton got out behind the counter and walked next to the much taller man over to the '50's pop' section. "Ah! Thank you..." The taller man looked at Patton's name tag. "Patton." "That's my name!" Patton let out a couple giggles and handed the tall man a hand. The tall man took Patton's hand and gave it a few shakes. "I'm Logan, Logan Smith. I don't believe I had told you that yet." "No, but now I know. By the way, are you... busy? Because one of my friends is having a pool party, and he wants anyone to come." Patton gave Logan a shy smile, scratching his neck. "I'll see if I have any plans, if not, I will see if I will be able to attend this party. For now I will give you my phone number. If you need me, you can message me."

Logan gave Patton the money for the vinyl, and a piece of paper with his number on it. Patton for the rest of the day, blew up Virgil's phone with thousands of messages and a few calls here and there. Saying things like 'Logan is really cute!!' and 'I have his number!'. Patton was in a highly positive mood for the rest of work. When work had closed, Patton had waited for Virgil to come pick him up. During this time, Patton had decided to pull his phone out and send a message to Logan. 'Hey Logan! It's Patton, Patton Draper from the record store'. Patton's heart began to beat faster, not knowing why. Just then, Virgil had pulled up in front of the store and Patton got in on the passenger side.

"So, you had a good day?" Virgil said with a slightly tired tone in his voice. "Yup! He was so nice! I think you would like him Vanessa!" Patton's smile fell almost immediately after he realized his mistake. "I-I mean Virgil! Sorry!" Virgil let out a laugh. "It's fine. It'll take some time, and I know that. Don't worry, I'm not mad." Virgil started to drive again and they had some more small talk and got some food on the way home. For the rest of the day, Patton and Virgil had watched a few movies and talked for a while before they decided to go to bed. Patton did stay up a bit later then he normally would, checking if Logan had responded the text, or if had seen it yet. After about half an hour of playing his ukulele, he went to bed.
