A few days after he had busted his chin, Patton wanted to see Logan again, just to say thanks at least. Patton needed to get to work though, so he couldn't see him. Although he loved his job, he really wished he had taken the opportunity to stay home, because of his new injury. "Thanks, come again." Patton waved to the customer, still trying to keep up his cheerful demeanor.  Patton pulled out his phone to see the time. '11:34'. "Only about half an hour." Patton muttered. Patton heard the little ring of the bell above the door. "Hello, please take a look around, and let me know if..." Patton stopped and saw him. "Hey Logan!" Patton perked up and looked like his normal self. "Hello Patton." Logan said walking over to the counter. "So... What brings you here, again?" Patton chuckled. "I just wanted to take a look around, and to be honest... I also really wanted to see you." Logan said shyly. Patton felt blush creep up on his face. "O-Oh really? That's really nice of you." Patton smiled an awkward smile. Logan blushed a bit at the attempt the shorter man trying to keep it cool.

Logan and Patton talked a bit and soon stopped, and subconsciously moved closer to each others faces. Patton realized this and backed up, Logan doing the same. "W-Well I should get to stocking now." Patton said getting out behind the counter. "Yeah." Logan said, a bit flustered. Logan eventually chose an album to buy, and was heading home with Patton. After all his shift was over, sooner then he thought. But they both noticed that it was getting really cloudy and windy.  Patton heard thunder and that made him whimper and cling on to Logan's arm, making him laugh a bit. "You need a ride home?" Logan asked  pulling out his car keys. Patton nodded. "Virgil's not off work yet, so I don't have any other choice but to go with-" Patton was cut off by a loud thunder clap, making him yelp. "Let's get you home quickly." Logan said walking Patton and himself to his car. "Hey Logan?" "Yes?" Logan said turning on the ignition. "Thanks for everything. You are just so kind to me, and I can't thank you enough for everything..." Patton's voice broke a bit and he felt tears forming in his eyes. Logan looked at Patton and spoke carefully. "Hey, it's nothing! I just wanted to help you anyway I can. I really care about you... you're one of my only friends." Logan was feeling really hot when he said that. "Really?" Patton said, wiping away his tears. "Of course! You are one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Along with your friend, Virgil."

After a bit they got to Patton's apartment and it was pouring with rain. They both got inside quickly, but not without getting wet. "God I was so worried! Your clothes are soaked!"Virgil stormed up to them both and gave them towels. "Thank you for your concern." Logan said taking the towel. "Let's get you changed. Logan, you can use my clothes. Patton get changed, I don't need any of us getting sick." Virgil took Logan and showed him his room. "I appreciate the offer, but I can change when I get home." "Nope. You'll get sick. Here. Just  change in the bathroom, don't look in the drawer." Virgil said giving clothes to Logan. "Understood." Virgil walked out of the room and walked to Patton's room. "You done?" Virgil spoke through the door. "Almost." Patton said through the door. "By the way, can Logan stay the night?" "I don't know. If he wants to. I only want to make sure that he gives me my clothes back, and that he doesn't get sick." "You really don't want us to get sick." Patton said coming out of his room.

"Well yeah, getting sick sucks." Virgil said walking towards the living room. Patton chuckled a bit and sat down on the couch. Logan came out of Virgil's room wearing a NASA shirt and basket-ball shorts. "Do you mind if I stay here?" Logan said looking at Patton. Patton felt his face heat up. "O-Of course! You can sleep in the guest bedroom if you'd like." "Thank you." Logan said sitting on the couch next to Patton. "What do you want to watch?" Virgil took the Roku remote and offered it to Logan. "Oh no, don't give it to me. You'll get bored really quickly." Logan said sheepishly. "Oh come on Logan! How about that documentary on caves?" Patton said taking the remote and handing it to Logan. "Well... Okay then. I do actually have a fascination for environments." Logan took the remote and turned on the documentary.

Patton took a look at Logan and saw how amazed he was, which made him blush a soft rosy pink. Virgil was already asleep because he was tired, not bored. "You really like this kind of stuff, don't you?" Patton said scooting closer to Logan. "Yes. I find that learning about our world is intriguing and amazing to me." Logan said looking at Patton with a spark in his eyes. Patton looked at Logan's lips for a second, then he realized what he was doing. Logan finally spoke up about it. "Why do you do that?" "Do what?" Patton said looking at the TV, trying to ignore the tension. "You back away from me when we stop." Logan said tilting his head to make Patton look at him. "I... I don't know. I just get nervous when you're close to my face." Patton said looking down. "Oh. Sorry for making you uncomfortable." Logan said shyly. "Oh no! You're fine I was just being dumb, sorry!" Patton laughed it off and looked at the TV again. Logan soon fell asleep in Patton's lap.
