Patton woke up slowly to sunlight hitting his face. His eyes fluttered opened and he saw Logan sleeping and snoring softly, making Patton blush and run his fingers through Logan's hair. Logan woke up after a minute of Patton playing with his hair. "Hggnn... Hm?" Logan groaned as his eyes fluttered opened. "Oh Logan! I'm sorry! D-Did I wake you up?" Patton said sitting up. "No it's okay..." Logan said yawning and rubbing his eyes. "Morning you guys. Want food?" Virgil came out of the kitchen with two plates, decorated with eggs, bacon, toast, and brats. "Mmm! Smell amazing Veness- VIRGIL!" Virgil looked at Logan with a worried expression on his face. "Who is Vanessa?" Logan said, not getting the hint. Patton looked at Virgil with a look of guilt and fear. "I... Logan... I-I should tell you something." Virgil placed the plates on the table and walked over to the two men. "No... Virgil don't... You don't have to." Patton whispered, hiding his face in his knees. "Logan, I know that we don't know each other very well, but I trust you enough to tell you that... I'm transgender." Virgil said a bit anxious, because he didn't know if he was trans-phobic.
Logan didn't miss a beat to say; "Thank you for telling me. I still will be your friend, and nothing will ever change that." Virgil almost cried when he heard that. "Thank you... So much..." Virgil said giving Logan a hug. He looked at Patton and gave him a soft smile. Patton plastered a fake smile and nodded. 'It's all your fault.' 'He wasn't ready.' 'You ruined everything.' The negative thoughts swarmed his head, polluting his mind. Logan saw through the lie and gave Patton a hug. "I know you feel bad. Don't be..." Logan whispered to Patton, making him nod in understanding. "Well, I think we should eat the food before it gets cold." Virgil said pulling the boys up. The food was still warm, and it tasted amazing. "This is very tasty Virgil." Logan said with a hand over his mouth. "Thank you Virgil! It's really good!" Patton said with a mess on his face.
Logan laughed at the child-like friend. Logan walked over to Patton with a napkin and wiped his face a bit, making Patton go red because of the closeness. "There. You should be a bit less messy when eating, okay?" "Uh... O-Okay." Patton said shyly. "Well this morning was... interesting. What do ya'll want to do?" Virgil said taking the plates. "I want to go to the park, but it's still rainy outside." Patton walked over to the couch, folding the blanket that he had used. "Looks like it will stay that way for this week." Logan said looking at the weather on his phone. "I need to go to work today, so you guys can do whatever you guys want. I'll be off at noon." Virgil said heading to his room. "Are you going home?" Patton asked, hoping Logan would say no. "Not particularity. I have all my projects and work done. Although I would like to go home." Logan said, a bit disappointed. "Oh... Okay." "But I don't mind you coming over to my house. You've never been there, have you?" Logan asked, offering Patton his hand. "Um... No I haven't. But I'd like to." Patton said taking his hand.
