This chapter is just an intro but I promise the boys will be in the next chapter more xx

*Buzzzz buzz buzzz smack* My phone vibrated off the desk and onto the ground. I rolled over and sighed. Why couldn't I just go back to sleep? My cat purred in complaint at my feet, he had it too easy.

Then I remembered what day it was. Maddison and I were going to go into town to start buying our christmas presents. Early, I know but halloween was over so I was technically allowed to be festive.

I picked up my phone and winced at the brightness. Twitter. Why was I not surprised. It was just Niall tweeting good morning.

I found myself spending half an hour catching up on all the overnight tweets which then resulted in me being late.

I threw on my wooly jumper and uggs and popped some toast in the toaster while I did my makeup. Keys? Check. Phone? Check. Money?

Oh shit what was that smell?? I ran into the kitchen to find smoke every where and my toast crispy to say the least. I grabbed an apple and shouted upstairs ''Heading out now! See you later!'' ''See you later hun!'' called my Dad. I headed out the door,texting Maddie as I went to tell her I was on the way. She was always on time and didn't approve of my tardiness.

She was waiting for me at the station gates. Looking amazing as usual. Today she was wearing an emerald jumper, cosy white scarf,navy jeans and brown ankle boots. Her neat blonde hair was tied up in a bun. Her eyeliner and skin was perfect. It was so unfair.

"Sup gurrlfriend?" she greeted me with a giggle as we swiped our cards through the gate. We talked and talked while waiting for and getting on the train. When I say 'we' I mean she told me who got with who over the break with me adding in an occasional "oh really?" or ''I knew that would happen". She was still single though, she hadn't gone out with anyone after she found her last boyfriend of 11 months with another girl. Not that she hasn't been asked, lots of boys would kill to go out with her. I still dont think shes over him.

Hmm? I zoned back into the conversation. "I said do you want to go to topshop first? I saw a gorgeous dress in there the other day."

"Oh yeah sure whatever",I replied. She asked me what was wrong, ''you seem out of it today Hayley''. I told her it was just lack of sleep. "Twitter?" I nodded, she knew me too well.

Town was brilliant this time of year. The decorations were already up in some shops and everyone was in high spirits. The air was cool and crisp but not too cold. It's beginning to look alot like Christmas, I hummed to myself. It took me a second to zone back in.

Maddie was beckoning me over to a band busking outside Topshop. They sounded pretty good. Maddie pushed her way to the front of the small crowd and I followed.

I nearly fainted when I saw them. The three boys were chatting between themselves and looked over in our direction.

"This ones for the girl in the red coat", the curly haired lead singer said. Those eyes, I could just get lost in them. I looked over at Maddie, lucky her I thought. Thats when I realized she was wearing her brown leather jacket. I looked down at my crimson duffle coat, and smiled. It was me he was talking about. This kind of stuff never happens to me.

"You're insecure, don't know what for" he started singing.

This day couldn't get more perfect.
