The Guardian [Naruto Fan-fic]

Kakashi's Decision!

Miyako's POV

     When we arrive to the posts we see Naruto tied up, "Told you we would we see him tied up." I went to sit next to the post Naruto was tied up, Sakura next to me and Sasuke on the other side of the post.

     We saw the lunch boxes in front of us, of course everyone's stomach was growling except mine. "Uh oh, stomachs growling. Thats to bad, oh by the way about this excersise, I won't send everyone back to the academy."

     Everyone gave him a confused look and Sakura said about fainting and falling over. Then next thing you now they cheer. 'They don't even know what he's going to say.' "Hey, he's not done talking."  But them all excited jumping up and down, they ignored me.

    "All of you are getting drop from the program, permanently." Those words froze me and I couldn't help but feel disappointed and my ears fell down but he continued, "But I guess I'll make Miyako pass since she knew what to do." I sigh in relief and fall back to the grass.

    "Drop us from the program means we will never be ninjas!! You said we couldn't take the bells we would be sent to the academy, you just changed you mind and kick us out!!! Why would you do that!!" Naruto struggling to get free from the ropes. He stops and looks at me, "Why doesn't Miyako get drop off from the program like the rest of us?"

     "Miyako thinks like a ninja, while the rest of you don't, you just think like little kids. Like brats." 

    Sasuke couldn't hold his temper no more, so he starts charging at Kakashi. I reacted and chased him and stop in front of him having Makaze out, "Don't forget Sasuke he's a jounin, while we're barely ninjas."

     I put Makaze back when Sasuke starts to calm down and I nod at Kakashi to continue, "You don't know what it means being a ninja, You think it's a game." Naruto's and Sakura's face turn confused and shock. "Why do you think we put you in squads? Didn't you ever consider that as a question for one moment?" 

     "I don't know what you mean sensei." Sakura still confused along with the others.

     "I mean you don't know what this excerise is about. Not even close."

     "What it's about?" Naruto ask still not getting it. 

     "Yes, thats what it determines if you pass or not."

     "I was going to ask you from the beginning." Sakura started to get a little scared just from looking at her face.

     Kakashi was already getting anoyyed with all the questions being thrown at him, "Use your head, 4 people on a squad. Why would you think we would do that?"

    "AHHH!! How are we supposed to know why you pick 4 people, we didn't make the rules!!" Naruto was already losing his temper from all the question Kakashi asks them.

     "Naruto, it's all about teamwork." I talk letting Kakashi rest from answering the questions.

     "You just wanted us to work together." Sakura says getting it now.

     "That's all I asked for, but its to late now. If all of you 4 have come at me you could have gotton the bells. Well anyway it's over." He looks at them darkly.

    "You set up it up with 4 people, but there's 3 bell which will lead to group conflict and the squad would break up." Sakura explains to Kakashi.

     "Exactly. I purposly pitied you against each other. I wanted to see if you can overcome that and put the sqaud first, ahead of yourselves. A genin should have a natural feel for teamwork, but you it  never crossed your mind except for Miyako's." He then tells them what they did wrong and moves to me, "The only one who knew what to do was Miyako, she even told you guys to work together with her, but you refused her offer and went on your own. On every mission you go on your life is on the line." He goes towards the KIA stone, "Did you look at this stone? The names engraved on it. They are all ninjas who are honored as heros in the village."
