The Chunin Exams (Part 2)

 Miyako's POV

   "Hey Kakashi."

   "Yea Miyako?" Kakashi looks over to me.

   "We've been standing here for hours, when are they going to come?" I smile and wave at Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata, and Shino as they come towards us to enter the doors to take the first part of the Chunin Exams. "Good luck you guys!"

   "Hi Miyako. What are you doing here with Kakashi and not the rest of your team?" Hinata looks around for the rest of Team 7.   

   "Oh, I'm just here to cheer for everyone on. Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji are already in there. I'm not taking the Chunin Exams."

   "What?!" They did the same reaction as Ino, Shika, and Choji did when I told them the news.

   "Yea, I got moved up to Jounin." 

   "WHAT?!!" 

   I wince as their screams and cover my ears, as another pair of hands place themselves on top of mine, "Come on guys, don't scream, your hurting Miyako's ears!"

   "What are you doing here Hide?" I look at him as he gives his usual grin.

   "What?! I can't be here to cheer Naruto on?!" He did his innocent face. "I'm also here to congratulate you on becoming Jounin!" He gives me a side hug,  "I'm going to make sure that the Hokage will put us in a lot of missions together!"

   I push him away, "Not happening."

   "Come on Miyako! It'll be fun!"

   "NO!" As Hide keeps whining, I look back at everyone else as they start to go in,   "Good luck again!! Kick their butts!" 

   As Hinata and Shino go in, Kiba turns around and walks towards me, "Hey Miyako?" 

   "Yea Kiba?"

   His face turns slightly pink, "Once the Chunin Exams are over or during the exams, would you like to go somewhere to eat together?"

   I feel my face burn and I start to hear Furostomi laugh, "S-sure." Akamaru jumps in my arms and starts to lick my face. I let out a giggle, petting Akamaru on the head. I hand him back to Kiba.

   The door closes, "So you're going to go on a date." I turn to look back at Hide who has a serious face, but turns all cheery with flowers surrounding him, "Can I come too?"

   "No." 

   "Come on Miyako!" 

   "No and that's final!" 

   He starts to whine again, I look ahead, seeing Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura coming towards us. I wave at them as Kakashi starts to talk, "Glad you came Sakura, for your sake and the others."

   "Huh?"

   "Now you can formally register to the Chunin Exam."

   "Why what do you mean?" Sakura asks.

  I take a step forward, "From the beginning, only groups of three are allowed to apply and take the exam. That's how it always was."

   "But Kakashi- sensei, you said it was the decision to the exam was up to the individual." 

   "That's right, I did."

   "Was that a lie?" 

   "Sort of. It is an individual decision, but it affects all of you. I didn't tell you before because I didn't want the other guys pressuring you. At the same time, I didn't want you to feel obliged to participate because of any feelings you might have for Sasuke, or Naruto. I wanted you to come to a decision on your own free will."
