The fire crackled as it began to die down. The day had been filled with adventure and team building. Britain and France thought it be a good idea if Germany and Israel were more comfortable around each other. So they invited Poland and Russia to join them. Germany wasn't so awkward around Israel anymore and Israel didn't cry violently towards Germany. Things were going great and France even made sweets.
Russia and Poland spent most of the day playing cards, chatting and watching Britain try and help the aforementioned relationship. Poland didn't mind Russia, they are close friends. Although Poland will never forgive Russia for painting a blue line just above his red one. Russia laughed at Poland and joked around saying he'd invade him.
"That's not funny!" Poland said, his arms crossed. Russia chuckled, "No, it's hilarious!"Poland pouted and turned his focus over to Britain, Israel and Germany. They were doing trust falls while France made a little fort. Britain was doing a good job getting them to work together, maybe it was their dad side coming out. The side that appears when he is talking to Canada, Australia or America. Russia moved to go inside the house, maybe he was just sick of the sun or maybe he just need vodka. Russia was a mystery sometimes, maybe that's why America obsessed over him.
Poland sat with France in the fort for the rest of the day, they were planning on throwing a revolution but France made the point of 'we have nothing to chop their heads off with'. So the idea was scrapped. Poland washed the paint off of his face while France and Britain prepared for dinner. Germany and Russia went into the house and seemed to be deep in conversation about something.
"Hiya Poland!" Israel said, running over to the tap Poland was at.
"Hello Israel! How was your day?" Poland asked as he washed his hands.
"Well... interesting. On one hand I just want to move on and forgive him on the other hand I know he is planning some vicious attack against me." Israel said, plopping herself down next to Poland.
"I'm sure while Britain is around Germany wouldn't try a thing, but I doubt he is planning anything." Poland responded, knowing that trust was a touchy thing.Dinner was delicious, France had honestly gone all out. There were pies, roast beef, steamed veggies and of course frog legs.
"How can you afford to eat like a king every night?" Russia asked while digging into the beef. France smiled and opened her wallet. She gracefully pulled out a credit card with the Union Jack on it.
"Simple! I don't!" France smiles happily before putting the credit card back. Britain just sat there, completely shocked."You used mY CREDIT CARD?!" Britain screamed. France rolled her eyes and kissed Britain on the cheek. Germany was quiet for the dinner, he was eating, just silently. Israel and Russia were talking about cars and which ones are better. Poland ate his dinner while watching the scene unfold. He did occasionally join in the chatter but not often. Poland could feel eyes on him, as if something was watching. It gave him an uneasy feeling but he tried to brush it off.
"Thank you for the dinner France, absolutely gourmet!" Poland said happily, finishing off his food. Poland began to gather his things; wallet, phone and keys before putting them in his over the shoulder leather satchel.
"Do you want me to walk you home?" Russia said, cleaning up the plates.
"Oh no, I should be fine. It's only a block away." Poland replied.Poland waved his goodbyes and left by the side gate. France always had a gorgeous house, she took pride in where she lived. The sun was now starting to set, Poland decided to walk home. He did normally catch the bus but that was going to be an hour wait. Plus it really wasn't that far, a block or two at most. He walked for about five minutes before stumbling into Germany's area. He lived in a high rise apartment so there were many tall builds around.
The street lights gave off a dim yellow hue that pathetically lit the street up. Poland noted this to tell Germany later. The air was chilly, Poland shivered slightly. Another five minutes had past, Germany lived in a large neighbour hood, so it was normal to take 15 minutes. Poland hoped he'd be home in 35 minutes, maybe even quicker.
Poland eventually came to his small house, there were a few flowers in the garden and a sun room to the side. He didn't really have a backyard but he didn't really want one. The sun room was made nearly completely of glass, in there was his little bonsai he was trying to grow. Wait, why could he see the bonsai? The light was on, he swore he turned the lights off. Perhaps he just simply forgot.
Poland groaned at the thought of his energy bill after leaving the light on all day while fumbling with his keys. He unlocked the door and entered his house, everything looked fine. He shut the door and threw the keys onto his kitchen island. He dropped his bag down onto the hook and headed for his sun room. Yawning and stretching his wings out and flicked the light off. He stroked his wing to try and get the kinks out, his white feathers refusing to work with him.
Poland felt a body press against his back, a hand shot around and covered his mouth. Poland screamed into the palm of the invader, his mind racing. He felt himself being lifted slightly off the ground and began to kick both the air and intruder. He felt his body pulled into the lounge room and thrown, pulled down onto the couch. The black screen on the tv showed the faint reflextions, Poland was sitting next to a country with a tall rechtangle head.
'Oh kurwa...'
He felt Reichtangle tie his mouth and then hands together. Poland struggled in an attempt to get it off but failed.
"Guten Tag Polen." Reichtangle said, his voice deep. He had positioned Poland so that he was on his lap, more towards the knees rather then the hips. Poland let out a muffled grunt and a few curses.
"Polen, it's good to see you again." Reichtangle said, his hands gently feeling Poland's wings."Let me get straight to the point, I need a place to stay and you're mein so I just decided to come here." Reich said, his eyes meeting Poland's. Poland huffed and let out a muffled scream, clearly unhappy with this arrangement.
"Oh I knew you'd be glad Polen, there's much we can do. Like, board games!" Reich said, not caring about Poland's protests. Reich smiled and gently pets Poland's head."If I take that cloth away, you promise you won't scream? You'll be a lot happier if you don't." Reich said, gently running his fingers over Poland's wings. Poland shivered at the contact but nodded, knowing he'll get nowhere otherwise.
"Good Polen." Reich says, untying the cloth around Poland's mouth.
"What do you want from me? Let me go!" Poland said, trying not to yell.Reich didn't respond, but instead patted Poland's wings. Poland huffed and tried to free his hands. Reich chuckled darkly. "I would stop that Polen." He said, his eyes now staring at Poland.
"Make me! And get out of my house! Who said you could come here?!" Poland yelled. Reich slapped Poland across his face, a red hand print left behind.
"What did I say about the yelling?"Poland let his tears start to fall, his cheek stung. His wings hung loosely by his back and his head rested in his forearms.
"Oh please do not cry Polen, I did tell you not to yell." Reich said, wiping the tears that were rolling down Poland's cheeks.
"W-Why are you even here! Go away!" Poland sobbed pathetically. His body shook slightly as Reich continued to pet the wings.
"Polen, stop crying..." Reich said, his hands gliding over the feathers.Poland lent into Reich's touch, he had missed the attention. Reich was a little taken back however didn't mind seeing Poland's soft side. Poland huffed and rested his head against Reich's shoulder. Poland tried to block Reich's view of his hands and began untying them. His wrists seemed a little irritated from the rubbing of the rope but didn't hurt.
"Why the sudden change Polen?" Reich said, gently nudging his shoulder. Poland pushed himself onto the floor, catching Reich off guard.
"Polen." Reich said, his eyes growing a dark red. "You shouldn't have done that Polen."Poland stood and ran to the kitchen going to the cutlery draw. Reich was hot on his heels as he was much taller his steps were much larger. Poland found a knife and armed himself with it.
"Stay back! I-... I won't hesitate...!" Poland yelled the chill of the night breeze brushing his back. So that's how Reich got in, the kitchen window.
"Polen, you shouldn't play with knives. You could get hurt." Reich's voice was calm and condescending, as if Poland was the child.Reich grabbed Poland's arm and pulled him forward. His other hand gripped the hand that held the knife. Effortlessly Reich worked the knife out of Poland's hand.
"We wouldn't want you getting hurt now, would we?" Reich placed the knife on the island and kept his grip on Poland.
"See, now why did you have to go and do that? It achieved nothing and now you're in trouble." Poland struggled against Reich's grip but just ended up twisting his own arm..:|1623|:.
