Poland stared at his ceiling as the clock ticked away. The clock on the wall showed it was 1:30am. For some reason Poland couldn't sleep, was it the excitement from finally escaping? Or maybe it was his anxieties that something might go wrong. Would something go wrong? How could it? Poland and Germany had been friends for some time.
"Niemcy (Germany) and I have been though everything together, I'm sure he can figure out his grand-papa." Poland said to himself.

Germany knocked on the door to Poland's house at 10:30am. The pair inside were having breakfast at the island. Reich opened the door to see his grandson.
"Deutschland, what are you doing here?" Reich said as Germany barged through. Poland went pale as Germany locked the door and sat Reich down on the stool.
"Poland, where is your phone?" Germany asked. Poland gave Germany a confused look.
"Upstairs... in my dresser." Poland replied as Reich shot him a filthy look.

Germany nodded and went to grab it, leaving the two alone. Reich glanced over to Poland and sighed. He didn't want to hurt him or Deutschland but he knew that if he didn't he'd end up with his son, behind bars.
"I'm disappointed with you Polen." Reich said gently holding Poland's hand. With one swift motion and a loud crack, Poland's wrist was snapped. Poland screamed in agony as he felt pain erupt in his wrist and hand. Reich held the wrist tightly and kissed Poland on the forehead.
"I never mean to hurt you. But I can't let you go. You are the piece I am missing. I can never let you go."

'You have to let him go.'

Poland sobbed softly as he held his wrist. It hurt so much. Reich watched as his son's voice echoed in his mind. 'You have to let him go Vater.' No. Reich didn't have to do a thing. Poland was his. He would make sure of it. Germany came running down the stairs and moved Poland away from Reich. He quickly bandaged the wrist and tried his best to help it.
"Look now I know you two aren't on good terms but if Poland promises not to press charges then I can get everyone out of this situation." Germany explained. Poland looked at him in complete horror and shock. If he didn't press charges what is stopping Reich from doing it again? What is stopping him from taking him in the night? Poland would never feel safe if he knew Reich was going free.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! Reich will just come back and hurt me again!" Poland yelled, he couldn't believe this! Niemcy, his friend was taking a kidnapper's side!
"Poland... I know it mustn't have been plesent living in captivity but... he might go to jail if you press charges." Germany argued, his voice trying to keep steady. Reich looked at his grandson and wondered why he wanted to keep him safe. Was it the fact his father was in jail or maybe because of our family's reputation?
"Good! Who fucking cares if he goes to jail! Lock him up just like his fucking Nazi son!" Poland screamed, his wrist throbbing and aching.

Poland refused to look at either of them after saying that. Reich stared at Poland, all he wanted to do now was snap the boy in half. How dare he talk about his son like that? Third wasn't perfect and had made many mistakes but he wasn't 100% terrible. Germany glared at the floor, he had heard that insult towards his Vater many times. For some reason hearing Poland say it just created a pain in his chest. He didn't want to think about it, nothing he could ever do would erase his father's actions.
"N-Niemcy...? I- I didn't- I didn't mean-" Poland tried.
"SHUT UP! Just. Shut. Up. Poland." Germany replied coldly.

Reich sat in the middle of the tension. He did care for Deutschland but he didn't see the problem as he did. Reich knew that's how people saw his son and he was okay with that. Deutschland seemed more angry and spiteful of Poland.
"Deutschland und Polen. No fighting. We are trying to compromise." Reich said, trying to break the aforementioned tension. Poland looked up over at Germany. He knew he shouldn't have said what he said, he was just angry at everyone and took it out on the wrong person.
"I'm sorry Niemcy." Poland apologised. His wings fluttered behind him in apologie as well. Germany huffed but said nothing more on the matter.

"You can't press charges and lock Reich up... then I'd have two ancestors in prison. I can't do that Poland..." Germany said, his voice growing quiet. Reich felt for the young country, he knew it must be hard to face so much hate and shame every morning. Was he ready to let the boy go though? Reich sighed.
"I promise to never come back if you don't press charges Polen. I'll leave forever." Reich said after an uncomfortable amount of time. Germany looked and Reich and nodded, silently thanking him for his help.

Poland looked between the pair and huffed. He hated Reich with every fibre of his being but was he worth breaking ties with Niemcy? Probably not. Niemcy had been kind to him all his life and even helped pick up the pieces after Third had his spree. Reich was the reason his wrist currently hurt, the reason his stomach was scaring and the reason he couldn't fly. Poland hated himself for not just texting France. She would've gotten him out of this mess and he wouldn't have to obey the two Germans.
"Never trust a German. It never ends well." Says a voice in the corner of the room.

Poland glances over to see a ghost of sorts. Standing just behind Reich and Niemcy. The Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth floated just above the floor and a few feet behind the two Germans. Poland stared at the once country. He hadn't seen his father in many years and now was the time he thought to visit?
"Papa..." Poland muttered as the Commonwealth faded into nothing. Poland let his tears fall as he hugged himself. His Papa was right, never ever trust a German.
"Y-You're right Papa..." Poland whispered, his mind remembering all of his childhood. How he missed his Papa.

Germany looked behind him and obviously saw nothing as Poland began to sob. He looked at Reich to see if he knew what was wrong with the smaller country.
"Don't ask me Deutschland. You are the leader here." Reich said, just curious to see what Germany would do. He knew why Poland was upset, Reich knew the Commonwealth sometime ago. Germany gently petted Poland's back as he tried to think of comforting things to say.
"You're alright Poland... I'm here?" Germany said, asking more if he should be here rather then if he was here.
"S-Stay away..." Poland muttered.

"Stay away Niemcy..."
