"What are you going to do...?" Poland asked, his burst of courage gone. Reich smiled and pulled the country along beside him.
"I hate to be so mean but knives are serious Polen. You need to know to never mess with them again." Reich opened Poland's bedroom door, it looked the same except for the lock attached to the door.
"You will stay in here, until morning." Reich pushed Poland inside the room and locked the door.

Poland looked at the door for some time. He wasn't really sure what was happening, his Ex, after four years just locked him in his room. Poland huffed and headed over to the window, he could just leave this way and Reich wouldn't even know. There's a large metal padlock and a few bolts drilled into the frame. Poland ran his fingers over the new metal attachments. The cold harsh textures made the small country shiver slightly. He was trapped in his own home.

.:|Polska's PoV|:.

I lay down on my bed and stare at the door. I can't believe this is happening to me. I thought life was moving forward. Germany and Israel made friends, surely I could find some peace... right? I look up at my ceiling. The 45 glow in the dark stars and 9 planets glowing back at me. Polska will go to space. Polska will get through this, Reich will be imprisoned and Polska will jump around on the moon with America.

I smile softly as I close my eyes. I let the dream take its place in my mind. I pull the blanket up all the way up and fluff it up around my neck so it's soft. I see myself in a sea of stars. I let my body spin and I see Earth. The gorgeous blues, greens and whites swirling and sloshing about. I see Ame waving at me from the moon, he super glued sunglasses to his helmet.
"Hey Ame!" I shout from my position.

"Hey Poland!" He shouts back. I float towards America and land next to him on the moon.
"Is it alright if I put my flag down too?" I ask softly, hoping not to upset him.
"Of course! Here-" he rips out his flag and replaces it with my flag. "-there! You deserve to be known as the country on the moon Poland! You're so amazing, talented and funny!"
I blush softly and stare at my flag waving it the imaginary wind. I really did it. I'm really here!

Polska is in space!

Polska is better then Soviet and America!

Polska is talented!

I groan as I feel sunlight hit my face. I look around my room, the stars dimly lighting now. I stretch and get out of bed. I put a warm brown sweater, some tracksuit pants and brush my wings out. I head to the door at about 8:00am and spin the handle. The handle turns but the door doesn't budge an inch. Right... I'm locked in. I groan and push heavily on the door. Still nothing. I go to grab my phone off my bedside table but it wasn't there.

Where did I leave my phone? I thought I had it with me. I suddenly remember the bonding games Britain invited me to, and how I left my phone in my bag, which is on the hook downstairs. I groan and curse my past self for my stupidity, how could I leave my phone downstairs?! Honestly Polska, I thought we were better then this. I flop onto my bed and curl up into a ball. When was he going to let me out? Was he going to let me out? I grab my notebook off of my bedside table.

It wasn't a diary, it was more so a recording of what happened in my life. It wasn't sappy stuff like "Japan chan didn't notice me at school today" it is more like "I am being held captive by an Ex." Or something similar to that situation. I hear the locks click open after a few minutes of writing in my notebook.
"Ah, Polen. I made us breakfast." Reich says. He smiles so wide it nearly engraves his cheeks.
"Come along." He says.

I put my notebook down on the table and get up. He moves to the side so I can walk through. I sccot through the doorway and head downstairs, Reich basically a step or two behind me. If I was going to escape I needed a plan. I know this house inside and out, he probably doesn't. If I could get to the sun room there's a glass sliding door. I just open that and fly away. My wings flutter slightly at the thought of flying. I don't do it often as I definitely should.

We make it to the kitchen island. There's two stools next to each other and breakfast in front of one of the stools. I sit down and look at the plate. It's bacon, eggs, a sausage and mushroom gravy. I pick up the fork.
"I hope you like it Polen. I already ate mine and I liked it." Reich says. My keys aren't here either, meaning he probably has them. I sigh and take a bite of the egg. It's nothing special although the gravy is amazing. I wasn't telling him that though.

I looked around the house from my seat. It all seemed to be the same, which is good. My bag was still on the hook. If I could get to my phone I could call the police or text Germany to call them. Hopefully someone comes around to check on me, then they could call the police.
"What do you think Polen? You ate it so quickly~" Reich says his hands brushing my wings. I wish he wouldn't do that. Maybe it's because they're soft or maybe because he knows I can fly away.

"It was... fine I guess...?" I say, just trying to get him off guard. I stand up and put my plate in the sink. I glance over to Reich, who is sitting on a stool watching me. I run the hot water a begin to wash up the pan and plates he used.
"You're very neat Polen. So organised." Reich says. I huff at his comment, what's the point in leaving a mess?
"Thanks..." I mutter. I wipe the plate clean and place it in the drying rack.

I glance at my sun room, the door is open. My little bonsai is blooming white flowers. I sign and drain the sink, I have to be careful about this. I'd only have one chance at escaping this way. There's a good chance I'd fail too.
"What is bothering you Polen? You seem worried." Reich says.
"What's bothering me?! You come out of nowhere and kidnap me in my own home! What do you even want from me?!" I yell.

Reich stands up and moves around the island. I hold my tongue. Reich stands in front of me, he just stares at me. Maybe he is thinking of something to say, maybe he is trying not to hit me. I look into his deep dark eyes. I feel so small compared to him. My legs feel like jelly, as if they are going to collapse underneath me.
"Polen, the yelling." He says gently coressing my cheek. The memory of yesterday's slap echos in my mind.

I look around for something, anything to protect myself with. Reich shifts slightly to the right and pets my left wing.
"I don't want to hurt you Polen." Reich says. He is lying, I know he is. If he didn't want to hurt me he'd leave me alone!
"Your a liar! If you were telling the truth you'd let me go!" I raise my voice slightly, not yelling just loud.

"Polen, enough please." Reich says, his voice soft. I growl and push him into the island before bolting towards the sun room. I push a stool down to slow him down. His pacing is thrown, giving me time to distance myself.
"Polen! Enough!" Reich yelled at me, his slender legs stepping over the stool. I slam the door to the sun room shut and lock it. I can hear him banging on the wooden door.

'That's not going to hold long...'

I open the sliding door as Reich smashes through the door. Wood gets flown through the room and my bonsai gets knocked over. I fell myself freeze slightly before stepping out into my side yard. It's a small thin yard like area to replace my backyard.
"Polen don't you dare." Reich yells. Now look who is yelling. I spread my wings and begin to fly upwards.
"Not so fast!" Reich yells as he grabs my ankle. I yelp and flap my wings harder. He continues to pull down on my leg.

I kick his arms and chest with my free foot. My wings creating a mini tornado in my side yard.
"Please! Let go!" I yell, kicking his head and arms harder. His hands grip my ankle tighter. In one quick motion he grabs my other leg. I scream and feel myself being yanked from the sky. I land on my back as I hit the grass.
"Polen." Reich says as he effortlessly drags me inside. As we pass the doorway to the now broken door I grip onto the frame tightly.
"Polen, let go."

I shake my head and let my tears fall. I try to free my legs from his death grip.
"Polen enough." He says as he pulls sharply on my legs launching me forward, away from the frame.
"No stop! I hate you!" I scream and try to kick. Reich rests his hand on my neck before pulling me up by the collar.
"Polen, keep in mind. I never wanted to hurt you." Reich whispers gently in my ear before knocking me out.
