"Stop crying", you said for the fifth time. Patting the head of the girl who had her seventh break down already, " Oh my god. Will you listen to me?"
"M-Miss.. The competition is in 3 weeks. And now the strings of the Violin is tampered. I--", oh here came her eighth one.
You rubbed your temples and your eyes searched for a something. Once you got what you were looking you straight walked out of the room.
You went into staff room and saw everyone grabbing a bunch.
"Guys, I'm so sorry to interrupt your session. But this is important.", you announced keeping your gaze calm although you were having explosions in your head, "And I need all of you into the matter."
Yoongi who was bobbing his head to the music blazing through his earphones, paused it paying attention to what you were going to say.

The speakers in the academy blew up informing all the tutees to gather in the auditorium.
"Hope we didn't interrupt your whatever you were doing session.", Taehyung grinned big, "We don't give two shits even if we did."
You rolled your eyes. This place was sick and giving you a massive headache.
"So we're going to have a little fun.", Hoseok took over from Taehyung, "As in we're going to have a competition."
"So who's in?", Hoseok asked after a pause. The tutees seemed to be least bothered and stood stuck to their places without moving an inch.
A girl raised her hand, timidly. She must have gotten over her breakdowns by now. She wasn't crying anymore.
"Oh so we have Jenna.", Namjoon grinned ear to ear, "That's amazing for a start."
Two students in particular had their faces twisted in mock. They were ready to enjoy the show, they had spent their labour on previously.
"So in my opinion, what goes best with a violin is a harp.", Namjoon tipped his chin and waited if someone had to oppose.
"If it's harp then, I must say, I'd like to see Hailey dwelling in duet.", Jimin suggested and other coaches nodded in agreement.
Hailey couldn't be more proud. She could already see her winning. Specially when she knew that she had tempered the strings of the violin perfectly.
You could sense Jenna on verge of another breakdown so you intentionally accompanied both the girls to the instrument room, escorting them back to the auditorium.
Time for the duel.
Jenna placed the violin on the shoulder pad that rested on her collar bone, supporting the instrument by her hand and shoulder. She rested her chin giving a weight to the top. Making sure that her jaw, collar bone, base of the left index finger and the side of the left thumb constructing the four contact points with the violin are in position, Jenna looked at you. You smiled gently giving her a thumbs up.
Hailey, oh lord, the mockery her mind was playing, seeing the scene unfolding before her. Blinded by those emotions she forget to check something. Something that might or might not cause her defeat.
Jenna raised her right hand, making the rosin kiss the strings. The auditorium filled with pleasant melody as she kept on working her bow through the strings E to G. Hailey couldn't figure out how was the harmony working. She clearly remembered tampering a G and D in the middle.
However, as Jenna made a final brush, the auditorium filled with applause. Bowing to the audience, she turned to Hailey, giving a smirk. Hailey was confused. And angry.
Cross strung harp consists multi-course that has two rows of strings which intersect without touching. They say playing a cross strung was difficult. But playing French Romantic was arduous.
Hailey sat on the tool positioning the harp. According the the melody chosen, she had to start playing the note from the G-flat side of the neck then continue to tune in C major. She elegantly started to work her fingers starting from the Black strings. The auditorium once again filled with satin melody but that died soon. Hailey missed a beat. Rather a string. A Red string that was used for C major in octave.
Her eyes widened and hands froze. How on the earth did she ended up having her instrument tampered instead?
Hailey looked to her to see Jenna already giving her a smile out of mockery. She went red and strode towards grabbing her shoulders harshly. Jenna immediately switched, making her face twist as if she was about to cry.
"You did it!! I know. How dare you tamper the strings?", Hailey screamed, she nails digging into Jenna's skin.
You took the opportunity to step in. Freeing them both from each other, you told Hailey, "Don't blame others. You lost the string because of your carelessness."
Hailey bore her dark gaze on you and yelled, "You know nothing. Don't interfere! Get lost."
"Exactly. I know nothing and I want to know. So tell me, why are you blaming your mistake on her. Jenna is such a talented girl. Why would she need to sabotage an instrument of someone like you?", you scoffed crossing over her arms.
Hailey grabbed your arms, blinded by rage, she pushed you with ferocity. You fell off the stage landed on your leg. Everyone gasped. You saw Namjoon and others rushing towards you but you held your palm up gesturing them to stop.
"See! You are jealous of her aren't you. But that doesn't mean that Jenna tampered your instrument. Why would she do it?", you said still seated in that position.
"Because I tampered the strings of her violin.", Hailey confessed causing everyone to gasp once again.
"I did because I am jealous of her. I don't like how innocent she acts when she's the opposite. She pretends to be timid. She gets all the praises. Everyone praises her and I... I... no one notices me. I even chose to play the hardest cross strung harp still.... No one...", Hailey sobbed, "I just wanted at least one person to notice me.", Hailey looked at you, "Now you got it. Jenna tampered the strings so she could get back to me."
You looked at Jenna. She held concern in her eyes for you.
You turned your head to face Hailey now, "It was me. I tampered the strings of the harp.", you announced.
Too much drama for your second day at work.
