"Oh god, stop being dramatic!",you panted.
"No! I won't go.", Yoonji almost cried trying to push you away.
Yoonji had drove you to your house, for three hours to be exact and now you wanted her to stay the night at least, get some good rest and then head back. But Yoonji was hell bent on not, afraid to face your parents. The last encounter between her and your parents were years ago, when the news of Yoongi's decision was broke off to them. It didn't go well of course.
"Y/N? Yoonji?"
You both turned to see your father watching, eyes squinted and forehead creased.
"Dad!", you rushed to him, engulfing him into a hug whereas Yoonji tiptoed towards her car, trying for an escape.
"Yoonji!", your father called and she froze. When she turned back, your father glared playfully, "No greetings brat!"
At first, Yoonji blinked, then tried to read his face and lastly broke into grin, "Hi Old Man."
"Come here", your father gestured her and she came running to cling onto his other side.
He was still holding you both into his embrace while walking into the house.
"Honey", he yelled, "Our daughters are back!"
Your mother appeared from the kitchen, hands wiping on the apron, confusion traced on her features. But her eyes widened as she saw you both, "Y/N? Yoonji?"
She immediately rushed towards to you both and squeezed herself on you three.
"Good you both came. I was baking some cupcakes. They'll be ready by now.", your mother said, "I'll go and check on them, you both freshen up. Honey, would you bring their luggage in?"
Your father nodded and you along with Yoonji followed him to the car.

"Mmm these are delicious.", Yoonji moaned as she took another bite of the cupcake, "I craved for your confectioneries aunt."
"It's so nice to see you again Yoonji ah", your mother patted on her head gently, "You've grown", she smiled, nostalgia filling in.
"Oh by the way, Y/N, you said you are working in a music academy, how come?", your father asked knowing you had sworn to not dwell yourself on music after the Yoongi incident, "Plus, Mark owns an academy, doesn't he? Are you working under him?", he added.
"Oh no Old Man, she's working at my bro--", you coughed and kicked Yoonji on her shin.
"I was working in Viola Academy by Music, owned by Kim Namjoon.", you blurted out.
"Was?", your mother asked skeptically.
"Yes, that's why I'm here. I quit that job.". you deadpanned, focusing your gaze on your plate.
"Again?", you father asked, "What happened this time?"
"Well.. I.. erm.. Actually I was..", you stuttered.
"Her boss wasn't in for a salary hike", Yoonji smiled stiffly, "He was making her work extra hours and that really drained out all of energy.", she continued. Your parents stared at her, making her nervous and stumble upon her words.
"Actually, it was Yoonji who suggested me to quit the job.", you smirked meeting gaze with Yoonji. If looks could kill, you'd have been dead.
"Yeah... I mean, she looked pathetic. Plus whenever I asked her if we could meet, she said, she was over timing.", she gulped, "What kind of friend would not suggest her to quit?"
