Leiria's POV
I woke up thinking about the unexpected surprise I received on my bed. I don't know why, but I had the need to keep my guard up about this guy. I just have a feeling he's gonna try get with alot of girls here then try on me. That's not gonna happen any time soon... No! Never!
I turned and saw that Lucia wasn't next to me. Maybe she went out. I got up and grabbed Lucia's grey hoodie as I'm only in a sports bra and I don't wanna give Joshua a free show.
I went downstairs to get my suitcase so i can do some laundry. The house was quiet and empty. Mum must have gone to work and Lucia is out doing here. Maybe Joshua went for a walk or something. Anyway...
As i was putting my clothes in the washing machine, I heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Who could that be?
I turned and saw Joshua at the bottom of the stairs, shirtless. Why is it the first sight of him is always shirtless?
"Um... Good morning." I greeted awkwardly.
"Morning." He replied in a low voice.
I stared at the floor to avoid eye contact with his eyes and abs.
"Sorry, i'm just so used to being shirtless around the house that i forget there are females in the house." He surprisingly said.
I snapped myself back to reality as i was admiring his abs. I could't help but bit my lip. My God, what's wrong with me? I need to snap out of it!
"Huh? Oh, don't worry about it," i said.
"as long as your penis isn't showing, it's cool." I joked.
He laughed. This is the first time hearing him laugh. Wow. What a great laugh.
"How are you liking London so far?" I asked, trying to make the atmosphere less awkward.
"It's cool so far." He replied
"I bet the weather isn't as great as it is back in the US, right?"
"Well...." he swayed his head in thought while squinting his eyes. "...yeah."
I laughed at his cute response and he smiled.
"So, what are you're plans today? Maybe I can show you around, or has my mum already done that?" I suggested.
"Oh, yeah, but she's only shown me Camden Town. But I've been to Oxford Street with Lucia. I would like to go to Trafalgar Square, if that's cool."
"Yeah sure. Let me just get ready." I said and headed upstairs. I bet he's looking at me as I'm walking up the stairs
Joshua's POV
I couldn't help but watch Leiria as she went upstairs to get changed. Some girls I've seen looked like a clown with make-up smeared all over their faces and their hair looking like a bird's nest, but not her.
She looked flawless and naturally beautiful. She is the definition of natural beauty. But I'm not gonna lie and say that I didn't stare at her ass as she walked up the stairs. She can make Kim Kardashian eat her heart out with her REAL ass.
I went to the cupboard and grabbed a bowl to prepare Coco Pops. As soon as I finished I ran up the stairs to get changed.
I was about to walk right into Leiria's room to get ready, not remembering that the owner of the room was inside getting ready. I stopped and I was about to knock on the door, until I heard an angelic sound.
The sound of Leiria singing. and playing the guitar.
My God, her voice.
I didn't know what song she was singing, but the lyrics were moving, especially from her. I listened to the lyrics closely, '...let's not talk of love or change, things we can't untie. Your eyes filled with sorrow, hey, that's no way to say goodbye.'
I din't want to knock the door and stop her singing, but I needed to get ready for us to go out.
I knocked the door three times, and the guitar stopped play.
"Y-yeah?" she answered with a stutter.
"Uh, it's me. I need to get ready and my bag is in your room." I said.
"Oh, okay. Uh, h-hold on a second."
I heard her put her guitar down and heard footsteps quickly approaching the door.
She opened the door with a shy look. Was she embarrassed that I heard her sing?
She was wearing light blue high-waist jeans with a white v-neck top,a red and white baseball jacket and Converse Her hair in a messy bun and she wasn't wearing much make-up, which I love. The way she dressed was totally different to Rachel's, without a doubt.
"It's all yours. I-I'll wait for you downstairs." she said while looking at the ground and quickly walked out of her own room.
I walked into her room, thinking about her singing, which really was breath-taking.
