Best Friend

Chapter 4

*One Year Later*
CRAVITY have made their way to the US once again with their world tour. They made a special pit stop, and I wasn't expecting it. I came home from school one day, and when I walked into the living room, they were all sitting there.
"CRAVITY? Um, 안녕하세요." I said, bowing to them.
"안녕하세요!" They said in unison.
"We came to surprise you." Jungmo said.
"Okay, um. . . Did my parents let you in?" I asked.
"Yes, they said you get home from school around 3:30. We planned to be here." Jungmo said.
"Okay. I'm so confused. Like, what." I said, looking at all of them.
"You may be wondering why we're here." Jungmo said.
"Shelly." Seongmin said.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I think we have gotten to know each other well. . . So, I would like to ask now, will you be my girlfriend?" Seongmin asked.
"Yes." I said.
Seongmin giggles and pulls me closer to him. It's like the perfect Kdrama moment. In that moment, everything went in slow motion. Then, he kissed me. For real this time. It wasn't even our first date, but he was just showing that he is mine now.
"This promise ring. Have it." Seongmin said, popping it open.
"I promise to only be your girl. To never lay eyes on another guy." I said, putting on the beautiful ring. Here is the ring:

"I promise to love you. We are together forever." Seongmin said. I can tell he's been practicing that.
"Aww, thank you Seongmin. You’re so sweet." I said.
"You’re welcome." Seongmin said.
The rest of the members of CRAVITY celebrate the wonderful start of a new relationship with cheering and applause.

Then, another surprise came, Alyssa comes through the door. She revealed to me that she couldn't pick between Minhee and Heongjun, so they became mutual friends. I understand, the decision is too hard for anyone really. At least I have Seongmin. I may not be dating my bias, but I am dating someone just as amazing. He makes me feel special. He makes me feel as though all my troubles don't matter. That is why I love him so much. I'm sure Alyssa just needs more time. Plus, it's fun watching Minhee and Heongjun compete like they have.

Someday, Alyssa is going to have to pick one of them, but for now, she's having fun just being their friend. It is pretty fun having them as our friend. I've always gotten along with my guy friends more than with my female friends. I guess it's their vibe, I don't know. CRAVITY, Alyssa, and I hang out for a while, then CRAVITY comes up with an idea; a spontaneous trip to LA. Good thing they came around during summer vacation. It's perfect timing. We all agreed on it. I asked my parents permission, and as long as the guys stay chill, we can go. The guys promised that they wouldn't lay a finger on us(besides Seongmin), and just hang out. We go to the airport and fly on over to LA.

This is such a spontaneous thing for us to do, but I guess, if it's CRAVITY'S day off, then I'm sure they deserve it. We do all the touristy things like; go to the Hollywood sign, walk down Hollywood Boulevard, go get Boba at the best Boba restaurant, and go to Venice Beach. Some of the stronger members in CRAVITY show off by doing flips and other gymnastics on the hoops. Some joke around by lifting some light weights, and we all laugh. This is so much fun, I'm glad we decided to do this. To end the night, CRAVITY treats us to a lovely fancy dinner at a French restaurant called Perch. We enter the restaurant, and when they heard we needed a table for eleven people, including the nine members of CRAVITY plus Alyssa and I, they almost couldn't take us. They finally let us in after clearing out a few tables.

We take a seat at our massive table. I take a look at the menu, and every thing just looks so good. Seongmin asks Jungmo for help translating some food items that interest him. Hearing what his options are, made him want to order everything. I decided to get Brioche Beef Sliders. It's one of the foods that interested me most. Alyssa got the Vadouvan Chicken Skewers. Honestly, all the food looked so delicious. We just had to decide what we wanted. Seongmin did the classic,
"I'll have what she's having," but in Korean. Funnily enough, our server was Korean-American, understanding completely what Seongmin had said. This is a huge relief to the members as they don't need to speak English now.

We get our food and indulge in the delicious food being served in front of us. Seongmin tries feeding me and it's the cutest thing ever. I take a bite into one of my sandwiches, and tell Seongmin to try, because it's just that good. He takes a bite and smiles, signaling thumbs up. His chubby cheeks from eating food is so adorable, like I can't. When we finish eating, I ask the rest of the members to go to the hotel so Seongmin and I can have our alone time in the Hollywood Hills lookout.

We arrive at the perfect spot. The whole city is lit up, and it's so pretty.
"I'm so happy that you asked me out." I said.
"I'm glad you like me." Seongmin said.
"Of course. I wouldn't not like you." I said.
"You're so pretty." Seongmin said, stroking my hair.
"I love you, Minnie." I said.
"I love you too." Seongmin said, kissing me.
"It's gonna hurt when you go back home." I said, looking down.
"Don't be sad, I'll invite you next time." Seongmin said, smiling.
"Okay." I said, cheering up.
"Let's go back. I'm getting tired." Seongmin said.
"Alright." I said.
We take a taxi back to the hotel. Seongmin, Alyssa, Minhee, and I are sharing a room together. Seongmin and I cuddle in the same bed together, falling asleep there.
