<Camila's POV>
Lauren, Austin, and Hunter were all in the nurses office as class started. I knew Lauren was supposed to be in my American Literature class but she was still in the nurse, about halfway through the lecture the door was opened and Lauren walked in with the bruise on her cheek, the weird thing about it though was it looked as if it was already healing. "Nice of you to join us Ms.Juaregui." Lauren just shrugged and took her seat on the other side of of the classroom. The teacher continued the lecture and I kept my eyes on the board. I was still mad at her, I know she was trying to help but she shouldn't of escalated the situation for us. I could feel her eyes staring intently at me and I squirmed slightly in my seat. I felt like the whole class was watching me though, as soon as the bell rang though I stormed out of the room before anyone else could say anything. Since I had lunch I took my time at my locker. Austin walked up to my locker and I shrugged lifting his chin to look into his eyes. I wasn't really mad at him considering he just tried to get Hunter to walk away. "I'm sorry this happened to you." He slightly pushed my hand away and smiled. "I'd do it again Mila." I knew it was Lauren who walked up and cleared her throat. I liked from Austin to her. "Hey Austin, I'll see you at lunch." He nodded and took off towards the cafeteria. Once he was out out of sight I slammed my locker shut and turned towards her while crossing my hands over my chest, I waited for her explanation.
"I don't understand why you are mad." She finally spoke after a bit.
"Because you escalated things. You shouldn't of hit him." I walked past her to the cafeteria but she gently grabbed my arm, she grabbed it so gently as if I was glass but with enough strength to stop me. "I was trying to protect you Camz." I bit my lip after hearing the nickname, I shrugged and accepted her apology I knew she was just trying to help. "I know, I guess I just overreacted." I wrapped my arms around her neck in a big hug, I could feel her tense up at first but then she wrapped her arms around my waist. Before anything else could happen I heard a boys voice coming from across the hallway.
"Are you going to get a room?" A boy with brown hair and gold eyes walk down the steps.
