Chapter 1

I sat in math class, tapping my pencil on my paper. Don't get me wrong, I usually don't have an issue with school, but today, today, I just wanted to leave. Finally, the bell decided to go off. I tossed everything into my backpack and practically ran out the door.
"Rayne, wait up!" Someone called from behind me. I turned around and saw Leanne, one of my good friends running to catch up with me.
"What's up?" I asked her.
"You wanna come over after school today? Around, maybe 7?" She said.
"Sure, I come over." I replied.
"Great. See you then!" Leanne yelled over her shoulder and skipped off. I turned around and continued on my way home. I shoved my earbuds into my ears and walked home to the sound on Green Day.

"I'm home!" I yelled as I stepped through the door. I had the house to myself, just like I had for the past two months. I grabbed a snack and made my way up to my room. I finished up my homework and before I knew it, it was 7:00 pm. I fixed up my blonde hair and was about to leave when I got a text from Leanne.
Hey!!! Can you actually meet me at the mall instead. Thnx! xx
I sighed, knowing typical Leanne to change plans last minute. I tossed on a hoodie and some skinny jeans and made my way to the subway station.
