"We are here!" Marcus announces. Felicia looks around and all she sees is a heap of giant gumtrees.

"Where exactly are we?" Questions Felicia.

All of a sudden the Galaxy 202 spaceship appears in front of Marcus, Felicia and Jaffa.

"How...what hang on... how did that happen?" Felicia asks with surprise in her tone.

"It's a Corban spaceship, and when any Corban is near a Corban spaceship, it becomes visible." Jaffa states.

"So it's invisible to other beings?"

"To humans - yes. Not sure about other beings." Marcus says.

The Galaxy 202 is a spaceship that Felicia has never seen before, nor has she imagined any spaceship to look like that. The Galaxy 202 is brightly silver and is shaped as a star. Yes, a star. Felicia finds the spaceship so unique.

All three of them hop on board the Galaxy 202. Once they are seated Felicia asks, "So, will this spaceship fly through the wormhole?"

"No...the Galaxy 202 stays on earth, so future Corbans can visit earth. Once we get to the wormhole, the Galaxy 202 will let out a ramp, so we all can go through the wormhole." Jaffa says.

"Oh, right. This is exciting." Felicia says with a smile.

"It shouldn't be!" Marcus snaps as he turns on the engine of the Galaxy 202.

"Oh, sorry I know that mmm sorry." Felicia is lost for words.

"It's okay Felicia. I know what you are thinking." Jaffa says.

Felicia feels excited. Never has she thought that 'she' will be able to see an actual wormhole. Felicia starts asking herself questions in her mind - How come the humans haven't discovered the wormhole? The humans still could have acknowledge some type of energy around the surface layer of earth, even though the wormhole is invisible, right?

Felicia also does feel concern, fear and worry. She doesn't want anything bad happening to Jaffa and Marcus. The feeling of excitement is taking over Felicia's emotions at the moment though, as the Galaxy 202 is about to arrive at the wormhole.

The Galaxy 202 stops and the ramp is released. The spaceship's door opens fast and Felicia feels the cold air on her face. "Why is it so cold?" Felicia questions.

"Probably from Corba weather." Marcus says.

"Right..." Felicia's heart starts pounding fast. Jaffa takes her hand.

"We will walk through the wormhole together. I have no idea if there will be Redellas waiting for us or Corbans...but whatever is at the other end, stay behind me Felicia." Jaffa says.

Felicia nods her head and starts walking on the ramp.

"What if they shoot us, brother?"

"I don't think the Redellas would. They may interrogate us." Jaffa says.

Felicia's hand tightly grips Jaffa's hand. "Don't be scared Felicia. You're strong!" Jaffa says sweetly to her.

The three of them are standing at the edge of the ramp. "I don't see the wormhole." Felicia says.

Marcus and Jaffa look at Felicia.

"This is awkward, seeming that we can see it." Marcus says.

Felicia feels a tad disappointed, she really wanted to see the wormhole.

"Put these on," Jaffa says and hands Felicia a pair of silver glasses.

"What exactly are these for?" Felicia asks.

"A device to enable blind Corbans to see. Maybe these glasses will enable you to see the wormhole." Jaffa explains.

Felicia closes her eyes and puts on the glasses. She slowly opens her eyes, hoping that she will be the first human to see the wormhole to Corba.

"Wow," Felicia says with surprise.

"You see it?"

"I do."

Felicia can't believe what she is seeing. The wormhole looks completely different than what science-fiction stories describe a wormhole to look like. The wormhole is shaped as a sphere. Different colours are swirling around through it. Felicia is indeed overwhelmed.

"I-I-I..." Felicia can't even say anything, as she feels so overwhelmed by the sight of the wormhole.

"Keep behind me, ok Felicia?" Jaffa says protectively.

Felicia nods her head.

Marcus walks in the wormhole and at a click of a finger he is gone.

"Oh my, how long does it take to arrive at Corba?" Felicia asks Jaffa anxiously.

"Not long, but once we get to the other side, we got to open the gate. Marcus is probably there now waiting for us."

Felicia and Jaffa step in the wormhole together and for about one minute Felicia sees several colours swirling around her.

"This is amazing!" Felicia says.

The colours suddenly disappear and Felicia and Jaffa see Marcus looking anxiously at the gate.

"How the hell are we going to convince the Corbans and Redellas that Felicia is a Corban?" Marcus asks panicky.

"She has blue hair, Marcus. We could say that Felicia came to earth with you." Jaffa says.

"Then they will frequently interrogate me, since the Corbans in-charge of the wormhole are always organize and do know everyone that goes into the wormhole."

"Calm down brother. If Missy is there on the other side she will believe me."

"Right, because Missy has a thing for you!?" Marcus sarcastically says.

Jaffa winks at his brother and Felicia starts feeling a little bit weird.

"Keep behind me," Jaffa reminds Felicia.

Marcus opens the gate to see Mayrose (mother of Marcus and Jaffa).

"Sons!" Mayrose shouts and slightly smiles.

"Mother!" Marcus says and walks over to her and hugs her.

Jaffa walks out of the wormhole with Felicia walking behind him.

"Jaffa...and who are you again?" Mayrose asks.

"Uh, her name is Felicia." Lan Aikman announces as he walks into the room. "Felicia Aikman. The first Redella born without wings."

Felicia is in shock - what the hell?

Hello,

Thank you to everyone that has read Gumtree Loneliness! I fully appreciate the fact that people have read my work. You are all awesome! I feel as if this is the correct way to end Gumtree Loneliness, I say this as the blurb I have written stated that this story is about a lonely human girl's connection to an alien, and as you can see, this chapter here is directing a whole new topic. Therefore there is a sequel and it is called CORBA. Check it out!!

Also, my grammar may be wrong in some parts of this story, please do let me know if you see a grammar error or if something does not make any sense. Thanks!

I am really quite proud of my wild imagination that has created this work of fiction. :) It's good to compliment yourself. Haha. Anyways, thanks so much again, for reading my story. Bye for now though....
