Lily Hunter is trying to move on from the memories of the war. So she decides to move in with her uncle Charlie and cousin Bella in Forks with her godson Teddy. What happens when she moves there and meets the Cullens and the pack?

I look at the boy that gets out of the car. He looks around the same age as me maybe a little younger. But what really shocked me was how built he was.

We both walk over to him
"Hey Charlie good to see you" the unknown boy greets
The boy looks over at me and gives me a smile
"Hey, I'm Brendan Black you must be Lily" he walks over to me and shakes my hand.
I immediately feel power surging from his hand. I quickly let go of his hand and move teddy back into both of my arms. I noticed Brendan noticed teddy for the first time.
He smiles down at him " And who is this little guy"
I smile at him. A lot of people would have immediately jumped to the wrong conclusion.
"This is teddy, he's my godson"
He leans down and shakes teddys hand "Well hello teddy it's nice to meet you" He look back to me "So dad said you wanted to go shopping at La push"
I nod "Yeah I need somethings for my room and a crib for teddy to sleep in"
"Okay but I don't think there's enough room for teddy plus I don't have a car seat for him"
I felt like slapping myself. How could I forget that muggles have rules about children having to sit in car seats. It had been such a long time since I had to use a car and I had never had a child with me when I had.
"It's okay Lils you can leave teddy with me while you go shopping"
I look at my uncle with a unsure face "Are you sure?"
He reassured me "Of course, I need to get to know my nieces godson" he smiled
I smile in response and hand him teddy "Thank you uncle" I lean down and kiss teddys head "I'll be back soon my little wolf"
What I didn't notice was the look and smirk that Brendan was giving me.
Brendan and I than get into the car and depart while giving uncle Charlie and teddy a wave
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As we are driving Brendan starts asking questions to get to know me
"So what made you decide to move to forks"
I freeze at the question and start having flashbacks to the war. I just wish that I could forget even just for a little while. The memories were the major reason that I moved I wanted to be able to move on from the war and be able to continue my life without the memories and nightmares haunting me.
I snap myself out of my daydream and notice we had stopped moving
Brendan looks at me in worry "Are you okay? You seemed to have zoned out"
