A Witch In Twilight ~ Harry Potter & Twilight Crossover

Chapter 10

If you want to skip this chapter you can. This chapter Lily will be telling the pack about the wizarding world and her time at Hogwarts. If you don't read there will be a little summary of the end at the beginning of chapter 11.

After they all agree to keep my secrets and not tell anyone what i was about to tell them i answered the questions that they already had for me about my story. 

"Yes i am a witch, the reason that you don't know about the wizarding world is the fact that we aren't aloud to tell just anyone about the world. As we know in the past people hadn't been accepting of witches and wizards and burnt them at the stake. So now we have a system of government like the non magical world has and we have created laws about telling non magical people or muggles about the magical world" 

They all nod in understanding so i continue 

"In the wizarding world we are labelled for or status. If both our parents are magical they are called Purebloods, if one parent is a muggle than you are considered a half-blood like me. But there are also Muggle-borns they are witches and wizards that don't have magical parents but still have magic themselves. There are also squibs they are people that have magical parents but don't have magic themselves. there aren't very many squibs as magic is a dominant gene" 

"In our world you get your letter for either Hogwarts or the magical school near where you live at the age of 11. My father knew about the magical world as my mother told him but he never told me anything about it so when i got my Hogwarts letter it was a big surprise. When i got there i met my three bestfriends, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley" 

"Harry Potter isn't just my bestfriend but also my godbrother his parents where my god parents before they died. They where murdered the same day as my mother and by the same person" 

I take a deep breath and try not to cry as i talk about my mothers death. Someone puts there hand on my shoulder too try and comfort me, I look up to see it was Sam. I smile at him for the nice gesture. He looks at me with worried expression on his face. 

"You don't have to keep going if you don't want to" 

I smile but shake my head 

"Its okay, I'm fine." 

I take a deep breath and continue with the story. 

"To know what happens in my years in Hogwarts. You need to know about the darkest wizard that the wizarding world as ever known. A lot of people know him as "You Know Who" as people were scared to call him by his name others called him the dark lord these were the people that were known as his followers that are also called Death Eaters. His name Voldemort" 

As the name left my lips, memories of the war went through my mind and my whole body tensed. 

The movement and stiffness of my body alerted Teddy to my change of emotion and even though he was still young he wanted to make me feel better by hugging me tight. 

My heart warms at the lovely gesture of my godson and i hold him tight and kiss his forehead. 

"Voldemort was the wizard that killed my mother along with my godparents Lily and James Potter, Harry's parents. He did this in hopes of killing Harry when he was a baby. His parents and my mother tried to protect him and in the end forfeited there lives. 

Voldemort tried to kill harry with a curse known as one of the three deadly curses, the Killing curse. But thanks to Lily Potter sacrificing her life and putting her body in front of Harry. He survived the Killing Curse and became the boy who lived." 

"Everyone thought that Voldemort was gone and for the next ten years the magical world was happy with the knowledge of there being no more threats." 

"But in mine and Harry's first year along with our friends Hermione and Ron we found out that Voldemort was indeed alive. if you could even call it being alive. He had attached himself to the body of one of our teachers. Harry Ended up stopping him from resurrecting with the help of myself, Hermione and Ron but that was just the start of a very big, long and terrifying 7 years" 

"In our second year the school was attacked by a beast that could petrify people. It was released from the chamber of secrets. It was a place that one of the founders created once he left  Hogwarts after a disagreement with the other founders. Later that year we found out that Ginny Weasley, Ron's little sister was being possessed and manipulated by Tom Riddle Aka Voldemort from the memory of himself that was in a Diary put in the possession of Ginny by Lucius Malfoy"

~ (Time skip) ~ After she tells the pack about the rest of her years at Hogwarts. 

"Once the war ended we found out about all the people that we lost, Fred Weasley one of my bestfriends, Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks Teddy's mother and father. Severus Snape, Colin Creevey, Lavender Brown, Vincent Crabbe and a lot more"

"The reason i moved here is to try and start a new life away from the memories of the war and the people we lost" 

By the end of the story i was full on crying my eyes out. Brenden had taken Teddy out of my arms and i was pulled into a hug by Sam. 

Immediately i felt a lot more calm within his arms and i pull him close to me which i noticed he didn't mind and he just rubbed my back as i kept crying. 

I finally stopped crying but didn't stop hugging Sam as i felt nice and safe within his arms. 

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE"
