Wenlock Trip

Chapter 13

I walk out of the busy terminal to see chandler waiting for me.

I grab my bag and walk quickly to him.

"hey dani."

"Hi chandler."

He grabs my bag.

"Here let me put that in the trunk for you."

I only brought a duffle bag with me this time, I'm only going to be here for a few days and most of the time I'm going to be in khaki's.

We both jump into the car and head back to the zoo.

"Robert and bindi have been waiting all morning for your arrival, it's the only thing they've talked about."

"Well I've been itching to get here."

Chandler laughs.

"Tired of the states already."

"No it's just out here it's completely different than the states, zoo life is so much different."

Chandler nods in understanding.

"Trust me I completely understand, I loved Florida, but it's just something about being here among the animals that's just so peaceful."

Later

We finally make it to the zoo and and first one I see waiting for me is Robert he's lounging on the steps though once he see's me he runs and swinging me off my feet.

Before I can even speak a pear of lips are silencing me.

I melt into the kiss, not realising just how much I've craved these kisses, though it seems Robert has become a bit more daring during our time away, his hands travel down from my waist to rest on my ass and a tongue has slipped into my mouth.

A cough breaks us out of our reunion, there on the patio is Terri and Bindi.

I blush up to my roots.

Chandler's laughing at our expense.

"Don't make me regret putting the two of you in a tent together." Terri comes down the steps and her warm arms embrace's me.

"Good to have you back dani even if it is just for a few days."

Hugs are passed around.

For the first time in a while I felt whole.

Wenlock river

I'm currently sat between Bindi and Robert as were pushed down the stream on a log platform by some locals.

I try to remember that everyone in the is car besides me has already done this ton's of times, but it didn't do much to lessen my fear of the car falling of the log.

Though thankfully we make it unscathed, I take notice of tents and people already set up.

"Every year we have volunteers sign up to participate in this trip, these people arrived this morning."

Bindi has been giving me pointers and tips all morning.

"Just wait till tonight, when the stars come out it unbelievable."

"Okay guys were here." Terri's voice calls from the front.

We all hop out of the car.

Our camping area is quite peaceful, it's mostly sandy ground with dry bushes not much but a perfect place for crocs:

"Okay bindi and Dani you will be in charge of putting the tents up."

Me and bindi get started on that straight away.
