:Alucard:

I was sitting with Seras, trying to bring myself to talk to her. I knew she needed to feed fresh, I also knew I needed to let her go. I knew just what to do, but I was out numbered several hunters to one. I get up and went to the main living area, and found Sam and Alex playing chess, Dean searching something on the laptop, while Charlie and Master were reading something.

" Alucard, do you know why vampires and demons would be working together?"

" No clue. Demons usually treat vampires as minions, but I was never in such a position. I am technically a freelance demon of sorts. All the powers, very few real weaknesses, and under normal predicaments, I would be in the loop better than even Crowley. Hell, before my imprisonment into servitude, I was Lucifer's personal errand boy."

Sam and Dean popped their heads up, and shared a look.

" Do you two know him too, or..."

" Um, Alucard, Sam is the vessel for Lucifer. He had him trapped in his head for months. It was really bad. He needed to be in a psychward to cope and deal."

" Oh. Well then."

" Alucard, what aren't you telling us?"

Master only took that tone when I messed up royally, and while it was usually fun to mess with her, right now, it was a bad idea.

" Well, if Sam truly is his vessel, it's only a matter of time until his plan comes to fruition. I barely remember the finer details, but I do know he had plans to wipe all life from earth, but to do so, he needed an earthly vessel. I used to be such vessel, but if you are his new vessel, then all I can say is good fucking luck."

" Why? What happened the last time he used you as a vessel, Master?"

" Wilhelmina Harker happened, that's what. It was that asshole of an angel who loved her, not me. I was sadly just the puppet, forced to watch in absolute horror as I was imprisoned and he got off scott free! He will use you like a cheap 2 dollar hooker and leave you as fast."

I knew this put a new kind of spotlight on me, but in all honesty, it could've been worse.

" Alucard, Vlad, please, how do you know Crowley and Lucifer?"

Master never called me by my mortal name. Never. I sat down in an armchair, and pulled a smoke out of thin air, plucked it from my shadows, and used said shadows to nab Master's lighter. I lit my smoke, and after a drag, finally told my story.

" When I was in my mid-20's, I was told by Lucifer himself I was his unholy soldier, that God didn't care, and if I gave him permission to use my body as a vessel, he'd make the Ottomans terrified enough to leave me alone. He did, for a while, live up to his word. When time for war came, I was placed into my own subconscious, where I watched everything with horrid fascination. When I had learned of my first wife's death by suicide, I was heartbroken, but Lucifer, he laughed. After that, I told him no more. I loved my children, where as he hated them. I loved my second wife more fiercely than my first, Jusztina. My wife was loyal until my death, and did her best for all my children."

I took another drag, then continued.

" When I was on the chopping block, literally, I swore God did love me, for he had to to have given me the honor of being the vessel of the favorite son, of being the first angel's clay made walking instrument of destruction on earth. Lucifer said if I died, he'd lay claim to my soul and my body. I made a deal, telling him that God would grant me everlasting life, and if he didn't, then he could do as he wished with a body that was no longer my own. Imagine his face of astonishment when 3 days from my death, I crawled out of my grave, and bore the same red eyes you see now. God told me that indeed he granted me 1000 years of life, but for each soul I killed, time had been taken off. I currently only have another 200 years left after giving 100 to Crowley for information. Crowley was the one given my contract by God himself. Thats how I know the bastard."

" And so you never told anyone any of this?"

" Nope. I fed Abraham nothing but fairy tales and hogwash. Heh, stupid bastard, did he really think I became what I was on my own? No. The devil was on one shoulder, God was on the other, and both screamed mine really loudly in my ear. I chose to not deal with either or, and since then, Lucifer hasn't bothered with me."

" So, you'll die in 200 years?"

" No, Sam. I'll be collected by Death the horseman himself and brought before Lucifer, to rot in the pits of hell for all the rest of exsistance as his personal little bitch."

Seras and Master stood, and Seras quickly hugged me, tears in her eyes, which alarmed everyone else. I helped hush her and calm her down to where she could speak.

" Master, I am so sorry for all of that! You didn't ask for this fate, yet you carry it with grace."

" I am of the same vein of thought as Seras. Alucard, I had no idea you were on borrowed time."

" No one is a true immortal, for everything has a weakness, and that is death. Be it by force, by accident, or by age and choice, death comes for all for it is the true inevitable."

" Alucard, I feel sorry for you. You didn't ask for this. You chose this, sure, but you had no clue of the ramifications of your actions. You were lied to and cheated on. I don't feel right holding you as a servant, knowing this."

" And yet, you can't let me go unless you die. Abraham cheated and used demon's magic to hold me, so nothing can free me, and no demon with half a brain stem will set me free, trust me I tried. Abbadon owed me a favor, and even that rotten prick couldn't help me."

" Alucard, I owe you an apology. I have thought for the longest time you were a godless heathen, when it was God who wronged you. I'm sorry for the bad blood. Care to start over?"

Anderson offered me his hand, and I took it with a smile.
