"So, Kid I'm gonna need your story." A 'hero' she hadn't met sat in front of her, with a light pointed directly at her face, practically burning off her scleras

"How far back?" Ace said, pushing the light away from her eyes.

"When you became a hero."

"That's far." She chuckled.

"Better get started then.", This 'hero' clearly wasn't one for antics. There was a reason she didn't know him, she refused to work with people like this, they took all the fun out of heroism and that apparently wasn't all they took.

"I was born mute, sir. I couldn't speak until I got my quirk, which is why I know sign and resort to writing and texting as forms of conversation and venting. My quirk allows me to see, analyze, and store information on anything and anyone. Whenever I overuse it, I stutter, that used to be the only downside."

"But?.." The 'hero' inquired. She could figure out his name but she really didn't care.

"But when I was younger my quirk got taken advantage of by Villain... they took a lot of information... and so much more. Afterwards, I went into a coma for a year. When I woke up I didn't know who I was. It became a frequent occurrence when I overused my quirk for me to pass out for a day or two. One day I was walking down the street, someone with an electricity quirk ran into me and the memories returned. That's when I became a Hero in my Head. I had to make those damn villains pay"

"What did you do then?" The 'Hero' a man in his Mid.. to late '50s was about a foot taller than she was, and probably not high up on the ranking given that she's never heard of him.

"I studied everything I could get my hands on. Books in every subject, language, and fighting styles. I made myself the perfect encyclopedia of a Hero. And then I found the Switch program. I didn't make friends. I just worked as hard as I could to get there. They accepted me two years younger than the application age. I didn't stop there. I climbed the ranks and I became the best I could be. When I was fifteen they offered me a mentorship under the Number 3 Hero in America. Then they offered to work in Japan. They said I had a better chance of climbing the ranks and getting what I wanted here. So they sent me to work under Keigo. Sorry, Hawks. And that's when things got... Fun."

"Well kid, we're working with Fatgum's Agency. So, tomorrow we'll introduce you two and then he and I will talk about who you'll be partnered with. You'll either be paired with Tokoyami, Kirishima, or Amajiki. You'll be introduced to them at UA. Most of the time you'll be working on your own or patroling since they have classes. Be back at the agency at 6:30. Cool?", the No.2 hero Hawks walked beside her. It was dark, she could hardly see him.

"Yes, sir."

"Don't call me Sir, Kid."

"Don't call me Kid, Sir."

He laughed. "She's all yours, grumpy."

Aizawa grumbled and motioned for her to follow him before walking through the Gates of UA.

"Later, Flyboy." Ace grinned and ran after Shota as she called to the sky where Hawks or as she had recently learned Takami Keigo, was flying off. "So, Aizawa-Sensei, what first?"

"I take a nap, you find someone to show you around, make friends, or whatever."

The man was suddenly enveloped into a yellow sleeping bag and fell to the floor and into sleep.

"Yeah, he tends to do that." A voice came from behind her, belonging to a- she looked at for a minute before his reading came up
