Chap 16

{The Tallest}

Red poked Spork's face with his long and pointy nail(?) attempting to wake up small-eyed Irken. "Pssst, Spork." Red says in a very quiet tone, Spork's expression started to shift and he swat Red's claw away then mumbled something.

Red poked him more, "Spooooorkkkk, hey Spork!" The tallest woke up, his green beady eyes showing, "What?" He groggily asked. "Miyuki is here." Spork shot up from his seat.

Looking around worriedly, Purple snickering at his reaction and realization hits him like asteroids. "You little fu-" he was caught off by the sudden red lights flashing.

Purple and Red's eye starts to widen, hoping Zim was alright. The two Tallest ran to the laboratory and Spork ran to Miyuki's designated place.

{The laboratory}
Zim accidentally spilled something on one of the electrical wires and his eyes widened in shock, "uh oh" was the long thing that escaped from his lips.

Red and Purple barged inside the lab and looked around for Zim, Red grabbed one scientist, "WHERE'S ZIM??!!" Red shook the poor scientist, "W-wait my Tallest! Uh, Zim is over there" The scientist pointed.

Red threw the scientist to the side and ran to Zim, Purple followed him. "ZIM!" Zim turned around and he faced two Purple and Red Irkens.

"Y-yes my Tallests..?" Zim cringed at his stuttering, "We've been looking for you! There's something wrong with the ship and now, we need to le-" suddenly the lights turned back to their original state.

"Well, my Tallests... Uh, seems like everything is fine now and I'll go back to work." Zim reassured them and turned to his work but was abruptly stopped by the Tallests, "NOPE! We're keeping you away from work for a while to avoid this once again, you have no idea how worried we were." Purple said.

"And you can't say no to us, you did pledge to serve your Tallests even if it's against your will." Red added, "I know..." Zim sighed. "WHELP, enough with work, let's go Miyuki's room and check if she's alright, you're coming with us, Zimmy."

All three left the lab leaving 5 baffled scientists, "What in the Irk just happened?" No one gave them an answer and went back to work.

~Scene change~
"So, I think we should do something after visiting Miyuki, let's head out and buy some donuts." Purple nodded as they flew to a nearby spakery and are compelled to wait in line.
They groaned in frustration, knowing that this is Miyuki's interpretation of equality with superiors and normal irkens. 

"I can't believe we have to wait in line and not be with Zim," Red muttered. 

Purple sighed and patted his friends on the back as they waited for 5 agonizing minutes for their turn. "FINALLY!" Purple exclaimed.

"My Tallest," they said as the cashier saluted. "How may I be of service today?" Purple tapped his chin and looked at the menu. "We'll just have 50 donuts," Red said, knowing that Purple would take 10 business days to order and he is just eager to see the little irken. "I was about to say that!" Purple grumbled. "Then don't take forever to say it, ya dingus!" Red fought back.

"As you wish, Tallests!" exclaims the cashier, announcing their order to the baker.

Red and Purple sat on a bench near the door, Purple playing with a lab-borrowed gadget. "What games do you have?" Red inquired as he stepped into Purple's personal bubble. Purple ignored him and continued playing, while Red poked him and repeatedly asked, "What are you playing?" Purple's patience is wearing thin, and he is doing everything in his power to resist the urge to punch his friend. After a few minutes, the cashier summoned them to place their order. Because capitalism, Red stood up and walked to the cashier, where they paid for their order. Red and Purple exited the building and drove back to the armada. Purple sang on the way, which irritated Red, 'When will this end?' As the two return home, they are unaware of the damage their irken has caused.
