Chap 2

Purple's P.O.V

I set all the traps and I readied my gun, the gun only contains some harmless balls (hopefully), I saw one of the invaders hiding, I think they are.

Their choice of hiding is pathetic so I just shot them to end their misery, the Irken huffed and went out.

"This is so easy."

I went back to my traps to see a bunch of Irken.

"I can't believe these are all the future invaders!" I laughed at their demise, can't believe I caught 3 Irkens out of 10. I bet Red is just cowering in fear like a little coward he is.

Just thinking about his failure makes me hungry.

I felt someone who tapped my soldier to see Red who just looked at me smugly and I saw 3 more Irkens, I looked at him in shock. "How on Irk?"
"Step your game up, Pur." I just wanted to punch that smirk off his face until we heared the beeping going off, meaning the game is finished. "The remaining four shall leave until we gather up all the finalists!" Miyuki's voice boomed in the speakers.

"Stop fighting you two, let's get ready for the 2nd squad!" Spork said.

I'll beat Red and rub it all on his face.

We all went separately. The game started then I saw 4 Irkens and I start to strategized my plan.

I made some distractions and set up a rope trap. one of them heard the noise and checked on it and my trapped worked successfully, as expected of me.

I shot the 2 Irkens and one tried to get away then I blocked their path.

"Where do you think your goin-" I stopped and admired the tiny Irken who had amazing Ruby colored eyes. I snapped back when I got hit. "My Tallest, Zim thinks it's not good to stand there awkwardly during the battle sequence."

"Tallest Purple is out!" Miyuki's voice echoed through the room as I was being dragged away while no looking away from the small Irken. "Holy shit." Is what I can just say.

Red's P.O.V

What a let down, expected Purple would lose. I will rub my victory on his face, I focused back on the game and shot the another Irken.

Until I saw something, I couldn't take my eyes off the tiny Irken. "Oh my Irk.." There are no words to express about the feeling I felt when I saw that Ruby eyed Irken, I saw Spork from behind, before the Irken even reacted Spork has already shot him and those Ruby eyes had some tears coming out then I snapped back to reality.

"Red? What are you doing?! You are not allowed to space out into battle!" Spork said as I walked towards the ruby eyes Irken. I held him on my arms then asked.

"State your name Irken."

"I-irken Zim, My T-tallest." The voice was so nice to listen to, so mesmerizing yet it sounded sad. Oh now I wish I could take Purple's place just to look at those eyes.

"Red, let go of that Irken, he lost." The Irken stood up away from my arms, I looked at the Irken who just sniffed and had those tears on his eyes.

I already missed the warmth he brought me, It took all my power to restrain myself from hugging him.

"Spork, please assign let me assign his role and I promise I won't bother you and Miyuki's private moment." I pleaded.

"Really?" Spork said hoping it was true and my final answer was yes, I didn't realized the Irken walking away from us.

I tried following but Spork stopped me dead.

"Keep your promise, Red." I nodded, I'll do anything for the sake to see those beautiful Ruby colored eyes.

I'll do anything to see him smile.
