HawkStar, leader of DarkClan, the former leader GlowStar was killed by DirtFang, that traitor, HawkStar sent four cats into exile, DirtFang and his followers, RuneFall, FrogLeap, and ArcticCore, His brothers and mate, he exiled the only cats that he trusted as an apprentice, DustFall and DreamCloud, ArcticCore’s mother and father, were upset with HawkStar after he exiled her.

HawkStar pushed his way past a StarClan warrior and before the path of the former leader, GlowStar. GlowStar mewed to HawkStar "When a light shows follow it, Nothing can break the light between your and a friend, so listen to me carefully." HawkStar nodded and listened to GlowStar carefully. GlowStar mewed, "Ice can freeze fire, and Runes have the marks to prove, A Frog's leap is true and Core light is frozen in the sight of a Hawk." HawkStar tilted his head and thought about what GlowStar said then mewed "What does that mean?" GlowStar smiled and mewed "You will know when you find out." HawkStar started to fade from StarClan and looked at GlowStar, He just nodded, and then everything went black.
