"What's wrong, mami?" Angel asked.

"Everything!" I paced back and forth in front of him.

Angel was sitting on the edge of the bed. He was oblivious and staring blankly at me. He started to nod as if he understood.

"Interesting," he said. He sounded intrigued.

I stood in front of him and crossed my arms over my chest. I rolled my eyes at his remark.

"What is everything?" Angel asked.

"I tied my tubes for nothing! I told you that you should still wear a condom, but no, you don't listen to me!" I growled.

Angel tilted his head. "I'm sorry, what?"

"Ugh! I'm pregnant!" I shrieked and threw my hands in the air.

He raised his eyebrows, and his jaw dropped. "Like... with a baby? N-no," he stammered. He shook his head back and forth. "W-what the fuck do you mean? I swear Mia if this is one of your little pranks–"

I snorted and bursted into a fit of giggles. I walked over to him and grabbed his face in my hands.

"It is, isn't it?! That isn't funny!" Angel growled and gave me a look of disgust.

"Babe, the fact that you think I would prank you about something like this is what is funny. You only wish it was a joke. There is a bun in this oven," I said. I pointed at my stomach.

"Oh, hell," he swallowed hard. He stared at my stomach. "Mami, I'm not ready for more babies. We're too old!"

"You should have thought about that when you decided not to wear a condom because ready or not here it comes," I said and smirked.

"I'm going to sue the doctor. That fucker didn't tie them right!" Angel growled. He stood up and walked around me.

"Babe!" I called after him. "Where are you going?"

"To call a lawyer," he huffed.

I threw my head back and laughed as I chased him out the door. "Oh, come on, it might be fun to have one more baby."

"That's what you said about the last two!" Angel called over his shoulder. "I'm getting my nuts cut. Apparently, tieing you didn't do shit."

I giggled as I followed him down into the kitchen.

"What's going on?" Ace asked as he walked into the kitchen.

"I'm pregnant," I said. I grabbed out the plates for dinner.

Our six kids walked into the kitchen. Ademar was the oldest, he was seventeen. Mary was fifteen. Mariah and Micheal were thirteen. Jase was ten. Kinsley was eight. Jase and Kinsley were both accidents, and after them, I tied my tubes. However, it didn't work.

"What?" Ademar's lips parted in shock.

"How?" Ace asked.

"I told him to use a condom," I huffed.

"Don't blame that shit on me, mami! I told you to swallow," Angel said and smirked. He wiggled his eyebrows.

Aria walked in and gasped. "Excuse me?"

I grabbed a plate and whipped it across the kitchen at Angel's head.

Angel ducked, and the plate shattered against the wall. Angel laughed and dashed out of the kitchen.

"That is fucking gross," Ademar gagged.

"That is your father for you," I muttered and rolled my eyes.

I finished college to be a registered nurse but didn't pick up a job in the field. I was always too busy helping Angel run things. Things were always chaotic here, but I loved the life we built. Six kids and hundreds of businesses were a lot of work.

Kenny and Cecilia got married a few years after Angel and I did. Turned out, they were great together. They even had a few kids.

Arianna wound up marrying Gage, and they had two kids.

Adelina and Jesse got married a year after Adelina finished high school. They had eight kids.

Angel was sitting at his desk when I walked into the study. We had finished dinner, and most of the kids were in bed.

I walked around his desk.

He inhaled deeply and turned his chair.

I sat down in his lap and smiled at him. I combed my fingers through his hair. "Are you still upset?" I asked.

He sighed. "No, I never was. I'm sorry, mami. You just took me by surprise, that's all. One more couldn't hurt." He chuckled.

I chuckled and nodded in agreement. "You are getting fixed, right?"

"Definitely, I already set up the appointment."

I threw my head back and laughed.

The study door opened. Ace and Aria walked in.

"Damn it, bebita. Tell me what is going on," Ace huffed.

"What?" Angel asked, confused.

"Sit down, Ace," Aria said sternly. "There is something I have to say, but I wanted to tell the three of you while we were alone."

"What is it?" I asked and leaned forward.

Angel peered around me, curiously.

Ace was practically bouncing out of his seat.

Aria smiled and clapped her hands together. "You are never going to believe who I found," she said.

Big thanks to my husband and kids for being patient with me, I love all of you so much. Writing has become such a huge part of my life. I know some days I get stuck in what I'm writing, which leaves me less time for them.

Thank you to my cousin Ariel and my sister-in-law Tina for letting me talk your ear off about my books.

Thank you to all my teachers at Full Sail University. All of my classes have taught me so much about writing, editing, and publishing.

Thank you to my grandma, my aunt, and my mom, for all your support and for buying and reading my books.

Most of all, thank you to my Wattpad readers–without all of you, these books never would have made it this far. I don't know if I would still be writing if it wasn't for all of your support.
