A Fool's Hour (5)

The Rangers all had their Dino Steel upgraded chargers now, all except for Kiana who still hadn't been given hers by Kendall, and Tyler, he who was still somewhere, off on a hunch that he was chasing.

Chase pretended fantastically, to be completely focused on the screen that was showing the activity, but he was in fact, grabbing the Orange Energem from the spot Kendall had put it.

He left it out next to his skateboard and tools, as he races off alongside the others to go and help Tyler, who was already out there fighting alone.

Suddenly, when Tyler looked like he was about to be destroyed completely by Wrench, a bunch of blasts hit their targets on Scrapper, then while all-too familiar face in orange, slashs hard at Wrench, who screams, as sparks, flew from his chest.

Kiana stood up from her crouch, the two swords swinging simultaneously in her hands, back to a battle position, defensive for the moment, but, easily changed.

"Tyler." Chase exclaimed sharply as he ran over with the others, all holdin' their Dino Morphers, in their hands as they did.

"Are you okay?" Shelby asked Tyler and she sounded super concerned, as his groans were getting louder. Kiana hazarded, a single glance back toward the rest of the team, while she kept all of her other senses, totally focused, on Wrench and Scrapper.

"Yeah. Yeah, I think so." Tyler said as Chase jerks his head a bit at Kiana, as she looked at the two monsters and at another nod, she backs up to stand up next to them. "You're awesome, you're aware of that... right?" Tyler questions and Kiana shakes her head.

"I do what I need to do, to protect my team. My friends, hell, you guys might as well be my family by now," And on that note, Shelby's snort, it was heard, very much loud and clear, and at that sound, Kiana's eyes flash at her snort.

"Most of you are like family." She corrected herself and put away her swords.

"You're fighting alone? You could've been destroyed. That's why you don't follow hunches." Chase insisted to the Red Ranger, as they all put away their morphers.

"You're right, but so was my hunch, this time. Sledge wasn't going to give us one hour. That crusher creep was the one who followed you guys back to the base. He's heading off to tell the Sledge where it is so they can steal the energems." Tyler insisted and Kiana's eyes began to darken with rage.

"He's not going anywhere, except straight down to hell." She said coldly and Chase looks at her.

"And to think, that we, the team, almost left you severely injured in the base with a grumpy Miss Morgan." He said and she chuckled humorlessly.

"So, if you hadn't followed Fury, we--" Shelby was unable to find the words.

"Sledge, would be making his way into our base right now, destroying everything and everyone." Riley was luckily there, to finish the sentences of everyone and only if it was deemed necessary.

"I am confuse." Koda interrupted as Chase and Kiana looked at him. "Uh, is hunch bad or good?" He questioned of them and Kiana looked at Chase, with a raised eyebrow.

"Right now, it's good." Chase said loudly enough for all of them to hear him, as he grinned, gently clapping on Tyler's shoulder.

"Let's do this... together." Tyler said and Chase nods quickly, and Kiana's eyes darkened, as she turned back to the monsters.

"Together, with a little help from Kendall." Chase murmured and he handed Kiana's Dino Steel Charger to her and she grins, a bit like a kid in a candy store.

"Thanks." She said and he nods quickly, before he was tossing Tyler one of his own.

"She's developed a new armor mode for us." He explained to Tyler, whose eyes were smiling.

"Come on! Let's both get out of here!" The monsters were getting up and Kiana shakes her head. "I've still gotta tell Sledge where the base is."

Kiana shakes her head once again, as her eyes blazed up with a fury that no one has seen before, except for maybe Riley.

"Don't count on it." Tyler called out to the monsters, who stopped dead track and Kiana spread out right along with the others. "It's morphing time. Dino Charger!" He called out.

"Ready!" The entire team called out in response and clicked their Chargers as one team.

"Energize! Ha!"

"Unleash the Power!"

The team stood morphed and ready for action. "Power Rangers..." Tyler's voice called out.

"Dino Charge!" They called out in response and Tyler tried out his new armor mode, and all of them followed suit.

Chase took on the two Vivazords while everyone else battled monsters and Vivix. "Guys, I could use some help here." Chase called.

"Coming through! Carnotaurus Blades, Destructive Slashes!" Kiana called out, as she leaps off of the zord, the Carnotaurus that had been brought to life, and she took out one of the massive Vivazords on her own, as she landed next to Chase again, her swords still securely in hand. "Does that help?" She asked with a grin and he chuckled at her, not needing words for that.

"Summon Tricera zord!" Shelby calls out as her Tricera zord, it completely decimated the other Vivazord.

Tyler and Koda combined their powers and it destroyed Scrapper, but only until the Magna Beam made him appear 30 feet taller.

"Moons." Kiana said, using it as a curse word and everyone turned to look at her, raising their eyebrows at her in surprise. "Shut up." She said.

The T-Rex Zord, the Tricera Zord, and the Stego Zord, they all combine, with each other to defeat Scrapper again at once, for real this time.

"Monster extinct." Tyler proclaimed.

They were all back at the museum and Chase had immediately, almost ran directly into Riley in the kitchen.

Then Shelby knocked into Kiana, who almost dropped all of her dishes, onto the floor. "I am so, sick of you." Kiana says to her and they all watched Tyler do his trick.

Until Koda was found to have swallowed the whole burger, but unfortunately... they found it out the hard way, when he spat it all over the team.

Kiana, having seen it coming, ducked behind Chase, to avoid getting blasted with the burger.

"Oh!" Chase was saying to Koda, as he was wiping the burger off of his shirt, but he was laughing.

Kiana was smiling at Koda and was laughing along with Chase. "How the heck did you see that coming?" Riley's voice was in awe of his sister and she shrugged.

"Same way I caught the tennis ball straight up. I'm not nearly as slow as I look to be." She says with a grin. "But, I have got absolutely nothing, when it comes to the blaster and Hotshot over there." She said, nudging Chase, who was still wiping burger off of his shirt.

"Koda!" Riley complained.

"Sorry." Koda said and Kiana was laughing at the others, who were all complaining now.

"Chase, thank god that you are taller then me." She said and he cocked his head slightly at her, before she takes over the grill. "Move Tyler, let me go and show you how it is done. Orange Ranger style." She said with a grin.
