the ending song of 'your name' started playing. Jungkook had often seen it but he still cried every time. he was just a really emotional person! Taehyung noticed his tears, cupped his face, wiped them away with his sweater paws. Jungkook couldn't help but stare in the other's eyes. loving, caring eyes.
during the movie they somehow moved closer to each other with every minute passing. without noticing the gap was closed, Jungkook's head resting on the older's shoulder, Taehyung's head leaning against his.
his face still in the other's hands, the boy snapped out of his thoughts. his heart started beating fast and loud when he realized that Taehyung was staring at his lips. approximately 4 inches apart. the moment lasted for only a second until the older quickly got up and made his way out of the room.
"i'll go get another drink."
Jungkook was frozen on the spot. he gulped. wide eyes, red cheeks.
stupid, stupid heart! what are you so loud for?
he sighed and ruffled his hair. it was probably time for him to go.
with a heart still beating as if he had ran a marathon, the boy walked to the elevator. their goodbye was a little awkward. Jungkook explained to the other how tired he was and that the last train would come soon.
he pressed his forehead against the cold walls of the elevator. he needed to cool down. nothing happend. they just watched a movie. everything else in his head was imagination.
with heavy steps he got on his train and sat down. almost all seats were empty. he plugged in his earphones and played 'delete forever' by grimes. the choice of song didn't really matter as long as it was loud. he turned the volume up and leaned back in his seat. he didn't want to hear his thoughts, tried to escape from his own mind.
he tapped his shoes together. as soon as he closed his eyes he saw Taehyung. caramel eyes looking at every inch of his face. he felt his touch on his skin. his warm fingertips on his tearstained cheeks. he was so engrossed in his thoughts that he almost missed his stop.
he mumbled some curse words under his breath as he jumped out of the closing doors. it started to rain just as he had foreseen. he pulled his black hood over his head and kicked a nearby stone. nothing helped. not the train ride. not the music. not the rain. Taehyung was still in his thoughts.
he walked home as if he was in a trance. took the stairs instead of the elevator. opened his apartment. fell on his bed. stared at the white ceiling.
he laid there for a while, deep in thoughts. it seemed like a short moment but in reality it was half an eternity. he turned his head to the left to see the sunrise through the window. patches of red, pink, orange and yellow slowly spread across the sky.
he groaned and got up again. that meant no sleep for him today.
