hello hello hello - remi wolf

Jungkook got woken up by the sun. he opened his eyes. watched the dust dance in the light. it was mid april. his classes started pretty late today.
he often had met up with Taehyung in the past few weeks. they got more comfortable again since the new year's eve party. they got lunch or dinner together. or the older visited him in the café. he came by regularly now.
Jungkook had also managed to write some new songs (finally!). he had 5 in total now. he was able to write a few while he was sick.
he had 2 hours of music history before he would meet up with Taehyung to get lunch together in the university's cafeteria. he thought about skipping class and meeting the older earlier than planned. the other had no classes today. but before he could sneak out the teacher walked in.
music history was actually one of his favorite subjects. but today he just couldn't concentrate. he heard the words of the teacher but they didn't make sense in his head. his thoughts were full of Taehyung's caramel eyes.
15 minutes before his class ended he looked outside the window. he bit his lip trying to suppress a smile. the older sat on a bench in the sun, right in front of his classrooms building and read a book. Jungkook was on the third floor so Taehyung was probably not able to see him.
the boy was the first one to jump up and run out of the room as soon as the bell rang. much to the confusion of the other students who had never seen him that energetic.
he stopped running when he reached the building's entrance. he wanted to capture the moment forever. took a screenshot of his mind. the older sitting on the bench reading some book about two sad lovers (he had explained Jungkook the whole plot over a cup of milktea). how the sun was making his skin glow. how careful he turned the slightly yellow pages of his old book.
the younger slowly walked to the bench, trying to be as quiet as possible. he leaned forward, only leaving a few inches between their faces. the older was so focused on reading that he didn't see the other coming closer.
"hello Tae."
Taehyung looked up, obviously surprised. then he smiled, not moving an inch.
"don't do this to me Jungkook."
"what do you mean?"
the boy stood up straight again. oh, how oblivious he was.
Taehyung sighed before he stood up and laid an arm around the younger's shoulders. he ruffled his black hair and started walking towards the cafeteria.
"nothing."
Jungkook chose one of the booths near the window to sit, while Taehyung stood in line to get their food. he scrolled on instagram for a few minutes. there weren't a lot of people in the cafeteria so it shouldn't take so long to get their food. he put his phone back down and searched with his eyes for Taehyung.
the older was hugging another male. they were talking so ecstatically. you could see the sparks in their eyes from miles away. Jungkook didn't like what he was seeing. a strange feeling made it's way into his stomach. they did some weird handshake before Taehyung walked towards where Jungkook was sitting. a smile still on his lips.
