Lisie and I were led to the headmistress's office; her name is Jill Nerida – daughter of Dante Nerida and Tania Nerida, the ruler of the Labyrinth. She looks pretty serious with her job and do you remember the villains that you see on screen? Well, she looks like them. "Good evening. Welcome to the Valle Academy! Here are your schedules and your dormitory keys. Apparently, you two have different schedules because you, a light magician have to attend classes that only light magicians can attend," she said pointing to Lisie, "and you, there are classes that you have to attend to help you determine which magician are you. I'm sorry, I have to leave you immediately, I have visitors coming to the school. Excuse me." She finished and left the room immediately. Lisie and I both looked at each other and then giggled. After a few seconds, we decided to head outside.

The whole school doesn't look like a school at all. Do you know the movie Vampire Academy? Well, it looks so much like. Maybe this was inspired by that movie, I thought and laughed. No, this was built two decades ago so probably not. Suddenly, I felt light headed, I turned around as if someone's calling me and I saw a portrait of a man. I approached it and read the name written below: Henry Valle. I examined it and suddenly, everything turned black.

I woke up in my dormitory. I looked around and noticed that Lisie had done all the work. I stood up and headed outside. Lisie was there doing her thing, and by thing I mean she's using magic to unpack her things.

"Oh! You're up! I can't sleep so I decided to unpack our things." She said and smiled. I checked the clock and it was almost morning.

"Oh my god, Lisie! We have classes at 8 am and you still haven't rested yet? Get some sleep, please." I became worried.

"It's okay. I learned a magic that could help me stay up as long as I want to." She said and winked. Ooh, bad girl, I thought. I realized I have not checked my phone since we got here. I took it out of my pocket and saw several messages from my parents and friends from my previous school. I replied to all of them informing them that I have reached the Academy safely.

When the bell rang, we knew it is time for breakfast – it is stated in our schedule. First bell - breakfast. We hurriedly went to the cafeteria. We followed the line on the counter and took our meals. Unfortunately, a bunch of light magicians sensed Lisie so they invited her over; they didn't know we go together so I had to tell them. Sadly, they didn't invite me, they were afraid that they would be friends with a dark magician, and with that, I learned that this whole place is divided into three, the light, dark and undetermined.

You might probably wondering but, yes, the Losts have a different institution - the Moskovitz Institution. So I decided to make my goal for this morning is to find some undetermined who I can also be friends with. It took me awhile so I decided to ask the guard's help. "Uhm, I'm sorry but you're the only undetermined left." I was surprised. "What?!" I decided to just find someone who would welcome me at their table. "

Hi! Would you like to have a seat?" A blonde girl offered. I walked towards her and her other girlfriends and then suddenly, my tray spilled itself on my shirt, it was as if they were controlling—no! She was controlling it. Yup, an obvious dark magician. "Oooh! Clumsy! Definitely not a dark, clumsy—I mean light magicians, care to take her in?" She said and the whole cafeteria laughed. Suddenly, I had the urge to fight back. Is this what undetermined feels? Torn between getting revenge and ignoring them? I wish I had just ignored them, maybe that would determine me but sadly nope, there was a dilemma. I headed outside the cafeteria and back to my dorm. I decided to prepare for class.

This routine went for the entire day. Lisie confessed to me that light magicians felt something dark in me. I had to ignore her an entire day in order to get that information, she couldn't risk our friendship and that's why I love her; and she also promised that even though I were to become a dark magician, I would still be her best friend. Thank you, Lisie.
