ᴛᴡɪʟɪɢʜᴛ [ʜᴀʏʟᴏʀ]

I rushed into the halls. I wait near the elevator clicking the button. Finally, it came. I walked into it and selected the 13th floor that is where I've been working. The elevator stopped at the 7th floor. I groan but when it opened it revealed Mr Horan. He walked into the elevator.

The elevator filled with Tension.

'' so Miss Swift someone is late?'' he says looking at the door with his hands in his pockets.

'' um well, I guess I'll be late for 5 minutes, Sir'' I say looking at my watch. Last night I was busy watching Friends. I am not a morning person so it explains everything.

''so Miss Swift how's the city is treating ya?'' his tone is teasingly. I sighed at his question and annoyed at the fact he always does this.

'' it is treating me well, Sir'' I say politely. the Elevator reached the 13th floor. '' let's see how long it will treat you good'' he says leaving me alone with my thoughts. This guy won't sleep without making me confused. I scoffed and made my way to my cabin. I sat on the chair looking at the ground. '' Tay, busy with your thoughts again?'' my thoughts were disturbed by a male voice. '' yeah lately drowning in them Joe'' I say smiling. I turned my chair to look at him. he was leaning his hands on the cabin wall with his chin resting on his hands smiling at me. '' why do the thoughts in your mind run faster than the bullet train?'' he asks raising his brows. '' because my mind is empty and I'm not too cheesy to flirt with a guy who took me to the bar last week'' I remark sticking my tongue out. he chuckles. '' so you have a concept to flirt with me huh?'' he asks winking at me. '' why not add it?'' he laughs loud. '' shhh, you're disturbing everyone with your laugh'' I say. he smiles '' anyway so I was thinking to take you out this week like in date Swift?'' He asks nervously. I bit my lip ''uh um Joe I'm kinda in a relationship. so er-''

'' it's fine I thought you were single'' he says looking down in embarrassment. '' hey, hey it's fine why don't we have fun like friends?'' I tried to cheer him.

'' yeah sure why not'' he laughed it off. I nod. we started to talk about random stuff. we both are free for this week. we should attend the office to help others like in collaborations. our conversation stopped when Hanna and Lucy walking in. '' sorry I wasn't thinking to interrupt you guys'' Hanna said smirking. I glare at her. '' Joe this is Hanna Marin, and this is Lucy Hale.'' I introduce the girls. '' and girls, this is Joe Alwyn'' I say looking at Joe who is smiling at the girls. '' girls, have fun I got to go'' he bids his bye's and left us. 

'' oh my god he is dreamy'' Hanna said '' get a boyfriend, I can't stand your flirty ass'' Lucy said rolling her eyes. '' I will be waiting for my prince'' she says proudly. '' awe Han that's great'' I say smiling at Hanna, who is looking at me with a smug face. '' yeah make sure he comes soon before you become a grandma.'' Lucy states switching on her computer. Hanna hit her arm and started to argue with each other. I roll my eyes and sit on my chair spinning around in the chair. I have nothing to do so why not? I stopped when I felt someone watching me. I looked around I saw Mr Horan watching me from his cabin having glass walls. He looked at me with his angry expression. I looked down and shove my head into the computer screen looking at other methods and stuff. I felt his gaze burning me. what did I do? why is he angry at me? I thought to myself. if he does that again I'm going to ask him. he states a few quotes and leaves me with confusion, he looks at me burns holes into my soul like what the fuck is this?

I heard my phone. I saw the caller ID showing Matt. '' hey Matt'' I say kinda cheering when I have no intentions right now. I saw Hanna's head turn to my side and squint her eyes, not I can't deal with her ass now. '' hey baby doll I was just checking how did it go with boss cause you were late today'' he was unsure what to ask but he called because he wanted to hear from me. '' yeah he didn't say any'' I say letting out a sigh. we made up. I accepted him again but I am not expecting anything from him this time. he accepted. we are not some girlfriend and boyfriend it's trying what is us? '' I will pick you up again eh um what time should I be there?'' he asks nervously. why is he nervous? did I turn into a guy and he into a girl? I shook my head '' I'll text you when I'm done is that okay?'' I ask him. '' um okay'' I nod with his reply. I hang up and closed my eyes. I'm frustrated in this relationship. I seem to be fine but I'm absolutely not. he is crashing at my place. I can't keep on having a toxic relationship. I want to be in a relationship that will make me happy but not concern whether this will stay for a week or forever. I can't live with doubting every single thing in my life. I want something pure. I sigh hoping I'd meet my one soon. I can't do this with Matt but I know I have feelings for him but not strong as it was at the start. strong feelings would make the relationships solid.
