I looked up at Bucky and smiled. "Thank you. I mean, you don't have to, I just thought it would nice.." I muttered. Bucky shook his head. "No it's okay. I'll go, doll." He said, just as quietly as me. I gently pushed him away and out the door. "I'm sure you have somewhere to be." I huffed.

Bucky stuffed his hands in his pockets and let out a quiet laugh. "Fine. I have to go make sure Steve isn't getting into anymore trouble anyways.." Bucky replied. I cocked my head to the side and rose an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"He uh.. he thinks he's a real tough guy who's strong. I'm sure he wouldn't even last a summer or winter without me, to be honest." I listened to his words and shook my head. "Well then.. go." I retorted, forcing myself not to smile.

Bucky gave me one last smile before turning away to leave and find Steve. I watched him turn the corner and disappear out of sight before closing the door. I lead myself to my room to change out of the dress and put on something that was at least comfortable.

Soon December 21 had arrived. This was the day Snow White comes out. Bucky and I haven't really seen each other since the day after our dance. It was mid afternoon, curled under a blanket, I was fast asleep on my couch. Even if the heater did work, it still got somewhat cold when it would turn off.

Knock...
             Knock...
                           Knock...

The three knocks on my door were quiet, but not loud enough to wake me.

Knock...
              Knock...
                            Knock...

The three knocks were there again but this time they were a little more aggressive but not too much. Though they had startled me from my sleep. My hair was a mess but that's how it usually ended up in the morning. I sat up and trudged my way to the door before unlocking the door and slowly opening it. "Oh..! Bucky.." I yawned.

"Am I um.. interrupting something?" The man asked, concern in his voice. I scrunched my nose at him. "No! Oh god no.. I just woke up from a nap.." I mumbled. Bucky pointed inside the room and nodded towards the room. "May I come in?" Bucky asked. I moved out of the way and watched him walk in. "Anything to drink?"

No, I'm alright.. you know.. that movie you wanted to see comes out today, if you're still wanting to go to that." I rubbed my eyes and pushed the strands of hair that had fallen in front of my face. "Oh shit.. right.." I responded quickly and nodded. "And the next showing is in about.." He continued. "45 minutes."

I smiled softly before nodding. "I'll get ready.." I stated as I turned to walk into my bedroom to change and look somewhat decent. I had decided to wear a skirt, a white blouse, light makeup, and my hair in loose curls. I looked at the time and saw that we still had a little bit till we could leave.

The theater wasn't very far, only like a block or two. I left my bedroom and joined Bucky in the living room. "So.. you asked me to tell you about myself, what about you?" I asked as I leaned against the arm of the couch. "Well, I plan on trying to join the Army in a few years." Bucky said in response. I felt a slight blush rise to my cheeks and just couldn't help but smile.

Bucky had noticed the blush and smiled back. "Well, we must be going." He finally said, looking down at his watch once more. Bucky looked back up at me and held out his hand. At first, I hesitated before reaching out and taking his hand. "Is Steve and Y/F/N coming?" I asked. Bucky shook his head. "Not unless you want them too." Bucky replied. In response to his statement, I shook my head.

We left my apartment, locked my door and then we were on our way. Bucky would gently squeeze my hand when a large crowd was approaching. He walked faster than me so I had to speedwalk to keep up. "Oh.. sorry.." Bucky apologized when he realized he was walking a little too fast. "It's alright." I reassured.

After walking through many crowds of people, we finally made it the theater. We got our tickets, went inside, then we took our seats. I smiled when I saw other couples and families walked in. I rested my arm on the arm of the theater seat next to Bucky. The lights in the theater dimmed and the movie began.

Bucky had slowly moved his hand to mine to intertwine our fingers. I moved my attention from the movie to our hands and back to the movie. We had stayed like that throughout the whole film. When it had ended, I looked at Bucky and he looked back at me. "So what'd you think?" I asked. Bucky shrugged. "Not bad. I've seen better cartoons."

I nodded in agreement. "I liked it.. it was just her voice that was getting annoying.. I've never heard someone sound so much like a constantly chirping bird." Bucky held back a chuckle as he stood up. He had finally let go of my hand then started to walk away. I quickly stood up and followed him. My hand was cold now so I had reached forward to grab his hand.

He looked down at our hands and had a small smile. "Didn't want you to lose me in the crowds." I explained. "Oh yeah, definitely. That's your reason, doll." Bucky responded. He guided me out of the theater and lead me down a familiar street. "Why are you taking me to your place?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "Do you not want to be there?" He asked back. "I do. I was just curious." I insisted.

"This reminds me, how's your heater?" Bucky looked down at me before letting go of my hand and wrapping his arm around my neck. I nodded. "It's been good, so far." I retorted. I lifted my hand to grab his that was resting on my shoulder. "Another question.." Bucky continued. "Hm?" I answered in response. "Would you.. um.. nevermind."

I rose my eyebrow. "What?" I asked, in response, he shook his head. I shook off the conversation and kept walking. Bucky held me close underneath his arm as we approached his home. He unlocked the door and let me in. I placed myself centered on the couch and smiled at him. "What was your question?" All I got was a glance before he changed the subject.
