Amity POV(now its about couple months down the road, and Amity has figured that she wants to confess her feelings to Luz, but the only way she knew how to do that is through a note. Currently shes sitting her room, trying to figure out exactly what to say)

"Luz, I've only known you for about 3 months, but within those three months, you're boundless positivity and energy have changed my life for the better. Slowly i've started to realize that I like you. I like you more then sombody whos just a friend. If you just wanna stay friends and forget this note ever existed, thats completely fine and understandable. Its just something that I've wanted to tell you for a while now."

no, I can't say all that, not a whole papragraph, that'll seem too desperate.

"Hi Luz, I like you, more then a friend...."

fuck I can't say that, that sounds creepy

I looked down and saw a dozens a crumbled papers on the floor. "You know what?? I'm over complicating this completely....I'm just gonna keep it simple..." I thought to myself as I simply wrote.

"Hey Luz,
I was wondering if you would you go out with me?

I quickly stuffed the note in my bag and said, "okay, I'll give it to her tomorrow."

time skip to tomorrow(Amity POV)
I was holding that note all day. Waiting for the perfect time to give it to Luz. But for me, theres never really that perfect time....I kept on putting it off. "I'll give it to her in the morning, I'll give it to her in class, I'll give it to her during lunch, I'll give it to her as at the end of the day.

Finally, I saw Luz at her locker at the end of the day and I knew it would kill me inside if put it off any longer. I opened the folder it was in and saw no note, I looked in my bag, no sight of it either, it wasn't in my textbooks, my locker, any of my other folders, or my pockets.... shit It must have fallen out during the day.... I was looking through my bag for the fourth time in a panic when Luz came up to me and said "Amity, I've been meaning to talk to you, I found this note in the hallway, I think you meant to send to somebody." She handed it to me and I saw that the note was pretty roughed up before Luz found it. It was all crumbled up, dirty and ripped in half.

It was ripped to the point that Luz could see I was asking somebody out....but not specifically her. "I know its kind of dirty and ripped, but I think whoever your trying to ask out will still like the effort you put in to writing them a note." I looked at the note for a second and then handed it back to Luz." She laughed at my gesture and said "noo, I meant give it to the person your asking out, not me." She gave it back to me, then I immediately I gave it back to her. Luz started to catch on and just stared at the note blankly. She standed there for a few seconds, which to me seemed like an eternity before she said.. "Amity... Of course I'll go out with you....to be honest, I kinda thought you liked me. But at the same time, I thought you were out completely of my league and would reject me..." I laughed and said, "Stop it, I'm the one that should be worrying about rejection."

She smiled and said, "you know, i've always wanted to go on a date at a rollar skating rink." Even thought I knew that I'd clumsliy fall on my ass within 5 seconds of going on that rink. I said "Then its a date. I'll pick you up at 7 tommorow."
