Hinata's POV
After I dropped Yachi off at the nurse I went back to practice. By that time everyone came and was in the gym practicing. "Ginger why are you late" asked coach. "Oh...I walked Yachi to the nurse that's why." I say

I guess I was too loud because everyone heard me, and the people that weren't here before practically screamed at me asking if she was okay. "Don't worry guys shes just tired that's all." They all let out a sigh, especially Kiyoko. "All right...now that that's all cleared up everyone get back to work." Screamed Coach Ukai. "Osu" we all yelled, and then practice resumed.

About 1 1/2 hours later

After practice ended I grabbed my stuff and ran out the gym to get Yachi. I was about to opened the door to the nurse office when the nurse walked out of the room. "Ah... you're the girls boyfriend right." "U-hh n-o" I say while blushing. "Alright but just be a little quiet when you walk in because she's sleeping right now.

I nod my head and walk into the room. Just as the nurse said, Yachi was sleeping soundly on the bed in here. I was about to wake her up when I noticed how peaceful her face looked. I guess I can let her sleep for a bit longer I thought as I kept looking at her face.

Wow... I never realized how pretty Yachi looked until now. Especially her eyes...Wait I shouldn't be thinking these kind of things about her; it's not right. I slapped both of my cheeks which made then turn red, but I was fine.

Then Yachi slowly started to stir in her sleep, and she opened up her eyes while letting a yawn fall out of her mouth. "Uhh Hinata what are you doing here." "Practice finished so I came to get you. But you were sleeping so I didn't want to wake you up."

She immediately jumped out of the bed and bowed. "Ahh I'm sorry I caused you so much inconvenience. I always bother other people" she said frowning at the last part. "Don't worry about it, and plus you didn't cause me any trouble at all." "Okay if you say so" she mumbled.

"How about we go now" I suggest and she just replied with an okay. We both exited the building and I went to go get my bike while Yachi stayed at the front of the school.

Once I reached my bicycle I noticed how small the seat was. I should probably get a back seat so the both of us can seat peacefully I thought. I rushed back to the front of the school so I wouldn't keep her waiting any longer.

Once I got there me and Yachi both got on, and I started peddling. I was still going slow because of her injuries so it took longer than it should have. It was kinda awkward between us because we were both silent.

I mean I could have easily started a conversation, but Yachi looked like she didn't want to talk so I kept my mouth shut. After I dropped her off home she thanked me and went inside.

But something was wrong, and even thought I couldn't exactly pin point it I knew it had something to do with Yachi. It probably also has to do with why she's been acting strange. I don't know what it is, but I'm going to find out; for Yachi I thought while I rode off to my house.

Yachi's POV
I peeked out the window and let out the breathe I didn't even know I was holding when Hinata finally left. I decided to go take a bath, and see if my wounds healed yet. When I got to the bathroom I took off the bandages and luckily almost everything healed.

I still has a few scratches left on my arms, but it's better than nothing. I looked at my wrist and saw that the wounds were closed up now. That's good I thought But I should probably wear clothes with long sleeves from now on. It would be a pain if someone found out.

I quickly took and bath, and then finished my homework. What to do now I thought It's only 8:30. I know I'll just watch some anime.

A few hours later

After a few hours I hear the door open. Oh no it's mom. I have to get to bed quick before she sees me awake. I put my laptop away and was just about to pretend to sleep when I heard a loud bang. Wait...oh God please don't tell me she's-.

My thoughts were interrupted by another loud noise. I quietly walked out of my room, and hid somewhere where she couldn't be able to see me, but I was also able to see exactly what she was doing.

And my suspicion was correct; she was drunk. Today must have been a really bad day for her. Even though she was a terrible mother, she never really went out drinking on a work night. Only once or twice, but that was around the time dad left us.

I winced as the bottle she had in her hand broke as she smashed it on the table, leave the glass shattered everywhere. She also knocked down a bunch of furniture. Great I thought Now I'll have to clean all this up tomorrow before school.

I decided to go to my room to sleep before I get caught, but it was a bust. Mom kept making too much noise so I wasn't able to sleep. I think I actually fell asleep at midnight.

Time skip morning:

I woke up and felt groggy. I really didn't get much sleep last night, and now I have to clean up the mess downstairs. Well might as well get it over with. I swung my leg over the cover, and got out of my bed. After I finished my whole routine I went downstairs.

With no surprise everything was a mess. I looked at the fridge and saw that there was another note saying that mom would be on a business trip for two weeks. At least I can get a break from her I thought. I got the broom and dust pan and started to clean the glass up.

After I was done with that I put all the furniture in place. Luckily nothing broke so I didn't have to buy new ones.

Right after I finished I heard the door bell ring. I opened the door and was met by my orange haired friend. "Hinata what are you doing here" I ask completely oblivious to everything.

"Yachi did you really forget. I said that I would pick you up and drop you off to school from now on." "Oh...yeah sorry" I say. I quickly get my bag and walk out the door with him. When I looked at his bicycle I noticed something different; there was another seat.

"Like what I did to it. I bought another seat so we could both sit comfortable." He said with a grin. "Thanks" I say with a smile that for once was actually genuine. Maybe I still do have some hope left I thought as I got on the back seat.

Once we both got on I held the seat so I wouldn't fall, but Hinata didn't start peddling. "Is something wrong" I ask. "Is it because I'm too heavy for. Oh no I can't believe you did this for me even thought it was troublesome for you. I can get off you want" I rambled.

He shook his head and said, "Yachi what are you talking about; your not heavy at all. I didn't start because you need to hold onto me so you don't fall while we're riding."

"Why didn't you say anything before" I ask. "It's because I was going slow because of your injuries. I noticed that they are all healed so I'm going to go faster than before" he said while rubbing his neck.

I wrap my arms around his stomach, and we starts peddling. I could feel my face go bright red from the contact, but I just ignored it. I looked at Hinata and I could have sworn I saw him blush too. But I couldn't see his face clearly so I wouldn't know. The rest of the trip to school was quiet.
