That didn't last long however when Katsuki stopped and Izuku rammed into his back. "So nerd. Mind explaining why you stick of alcohol?"
Izuku gulped as he saw his life flash before his eyes.
______
"ANSWER ME YOU DAMN NERD!" Izuku shuffled back and once again shrunk into his shoulders. "I- I was forced to drink it... T-They said if I drank water or ate anything they'd kill me so obviously I just lived with the smell!" Katsuki spun around now finally facing Izuku. He glared at the smaller before ramming a lollipop into Izuku's mouth, he choked in surprise before sucking on the lollipop.
"Fucking useless I swear. Can't even tell someone no." Izuku frowned and his shoulders slumped for real this time. "S-Sorry Kacchan." Katsuki 'tched' as he began walking again. "Shut up Deku before I blow you sky high!" (Wink Wonk XD, Sorry I'll excuse myself.)
______
"Mum! I'm home!" "Auntie." Inko raced out and brought both boys into a hug. "Welcome home Izuku. Nice to see you again Katsuki dear. You're parents will be here soon so feel free to get comfortable." Inko let both go gesturing for the couch. "Oh Izuku sweetie will you help me? I can't reach the spices."
Katsuki let out a small chuckle as he watched Izuku smile and walk off with his mother. Katsuki blinked at the completely different stance and composer of Izuku before narrowing his eyes. Izuku walked with confidence around his mum, he didn't slouch or twitch and he didn't stutter.
What are you hiding nerd...? Instead of taking a seat on the couch Katsuki headed straight for Izuku's room and carefully pulled out notebook after notebook, skimming through them and then putting them back. He was getting more annoyed by the minute when he didn't find anything interesting. He decided to leave Izuku's room before he blew it up and spotted a black, nameless hand sized notebook peaking from Izuku's blazer pocket.
He glanced back at the kitchen a pan was placed on the stove and snatched the notebook placing it in his own pocket before plopping his weight onto the couch. He wanted to read in immediately to check if it was worth it but held of reluctantly as Izuku threw himself over the back of the couch earning a strangled yelp from a very surprised Katsuki and an angry shout from his mother.
Katsuki stared Izuku down as he laughed. Izuku felt Katsuki's eyes and looked up before his eyes widened and he returned to the meek quiet kid from school. Katsuki raised a brow and was about to mention it when a knock was at the door and Izuku was out of that awkward situation immediately. The actual fuck was that?! The nerd have MPD or something!?
"Aunt Mitsuki! Uncle Masaru!" Izuku beamed as the couple appeared in the doorway. "Aww! Izuku!" The teen was immediately crushed into a bear hug. "You look more and more like Inko everyday!" Izuku strangled out a laugh before Masaru pried the woman off Izuku. "He couldn't breathe." Mitsuki smiled. "Sorry, I got excited."
"Ah, mum's in the kitchen and Kacchan's in the living room." Mitsuki smiled as Izuku moved out of the way and let them in. "Thank you honey." Mitsuki headed straight for the kitchen where as Masaru walked in and closed the door for Izuku before turning to him.
"How have you been?" Izuku blinked before sporting a large smile. "I've been good!" Masaru smiled and ruffled Izuku's hair. "Katsuki can be a bit head strong a times so please try not to mind his insults. Half of the time he doesn't mean them." Izuku kept his smile but in his head he question the truth out of those words. "I HEARD THAT!"
______
"Thank's for the food Auntie!" Katsuki bowed ever so slightly to Inko as he stood at the door with his parents. "Don't worry about it! It was nice having more energy in our little home." Katsuki almost missed the small frown on Izuku's face, almost.
"Well tell us next time you have time and you can come to our instead." Mitsuki beamed as she drew Inko into a hug. "I will. Take care now." Izuku waved silently as the three Bakugo's left and Inko sighed slightly before turning around to see her frowning son.
"Izuku?" Izuku turned his head slightly. "Sorry I'm not energetic like Kacchan." Inko pulled her son into a hug faster than he could blink. "Stop it. You know that's not what I meant." Izuku hummed hugging his mum back.
"I'm sorry... I had a long day..." Inko nodded at her son. "I know. I can smell it." Izuku twitched as his mothers tone turned stern. "Mu-Mum, it's no-" Inko pulled away from the hug and frowned, glassy eyes at her son.
"What's going on Izuku?" Izuku's heart ached at the pain in his mothers voice. "You come home with bruised arms. You come home smelling like cigarettes. You come home smelling like alcohol. You never tell me anything and it worries me..." Izuku opened his mouth to speak when his mother cut him off.
"I don't even know who you are anymore..." Izuku froze where he stood, he gulped back the tears as his mother shook her head and retreated to her bedroom, closing the door behind her.
I'm so sorry Izuku! Izuku twitched. His mothers voice from when he was four emerging in the back of his head. He slowly walked to his mothers door and placed a hand and his forehead on the door. "I'm sorry mum... I just didn't want to worry you..." Izuku whispered, choking on the incoming sob. He waited no time. He threw on a hoodie and jeans before throwing on his shoes and leaving, without a note but taking a notebook with him.
Inko sat propped up against the door. "I'm sorry mum... I just didn't want to worry you..." Whispered through the door and she twitched. She waited to here her son's door close or the TV at least but instead she heard shuffling and the front door.
She shot up, swung her door open to catch the door slamming shut. "IZUKU?!" She ran for the door swinging it open but to her horror her son was gone.
A/N - Hey~! Izuku hasn't run away don't worryyyyyy~! So basically his mother mentions this one time where after school Izuku was stalked and trapped in an alley way. Izuku was beaten and the people around him that watched were smoking. Izuku keeps everything to himself so Inko has to guess what happens.
