AN: Ahhh, I'm gonna cri— I can't believe so many people are enjoying an idea I made while I was falling asleep or the fact that we're at 5k views. That's such an unbelievably high number QuQ Thank you everyone and I apologize sincerely for not being able to update: school is hectic and I just had a mini surgery a bit ago so I've been trying to juggle between the two. This truly makes me very happy so again, I thank all of you for your support! Also, sorry about not doing the art yet, art block also decided to kick me TuT (103 words)
I hugged my torso slightly, feeling the makeshift rope shift slightly under the pressure from my arms. I smiled in astonishment as I let them fall to my sides, letting my gaze meet the other two: Emma and Norman. And with that, we all went one by one into the forest to continue our "adventure".
I lifted my button up shirt from the hem, beginning to unravel the table cloth from my torso, "Wow Norman, we can always rely on you for ideas, huh?~"
Norman chuckled slightly, shaking his head, "you give me too much credit. I'm sure one of you could've come up with an equally, if not more, remarkable idea."
Emma folded her tablecloth neatly and then placed it into the bag with a grin, "well! Regardless of who came up with the idea, we've now found something we can use as rope without seeming inconspicuous if found out!"
I giggled slightly, "my my Emma, using a big word, huh?"
She laughed and stuck her tongue out playfully. She then proceeded to hand Norman the bag, allowing him to put his own cloth in there. I grinned and walked over to Norman as he held it open, placing my own in there.
Norman handed Emma the bag once again, letting her fasten the head of it tightly so that the contents within wouldn't seep out. With a small grin and a determined glint in her eyes, she climbed up the tree and hid it in its' cavity.
She sent us both a small wink along with a quick thumbs up before working her way back down. Norman simply just smiled, a hint of admiration shining brightly in his expression. I couldn't help but grin teasingly at the possibly lovesick boy. His gaze turned towards me and he visibly sweat dropped, a nervous grin on his soft features.
I slightly wiggled my eyebrows before he stopped me with the clearing of his throat, " O...Okay, well, The hard part comes now."
Emma took her place next to him, a somewhat defeated expression on her, "yeah"
And with that, we made our way through the forest in silence. I glanced over at Emma, finding her softly swinging her arms back and forth, an inquisitive expression plastered on her face. She cleared her throat, meeting my gaze and shot me a small smile... which I returned. She turned towards Norman, "Hey, Norman..."
Norman turned his gaze towards ours, raising an eyebrow to let her know he was listening and for her to continue, "Well, don'tcha think it's about time we inform Ray about all of this?"
Norman's eyes widened a bit before he sent us a smile, "at first, I was thinking the same."
He looked straight ahead, seemingly thinking back to Ray's personality, "knowing him, he wouldn't panic at all. He would definitely be a great addition to the team, since he's smart and knows a lot about machinery."
I looked away and sighed, "then, would Yuki also be a good addition to the team?"
Norman hesitated, his smile twitching for a second before it normalized again, as he brought his hand up to his chest, gesturing to himself "ah, about him. I'll speak to him, I'll speak to them both. Both Ray and Yuki, so don't worry."
