Marceline Anne checked her phone as she did her rounds. She was truly tired and couldn't wait for break. At least a break.

She realized it was her personal phone and checked it to see it was her sister. "Hello?"

A scream was her answer.

"Hello?" She should have known Mercedes Catherine would be so extra. Child was a mess the closer she got to her due date.

"You did this!"

"Probably."

"Marcy! You organized a family photo-shoot!"

Marceline Anne frowned a bit. "How do you know that?"

"The photographer called. The stylists want my sizes."

"Oh. Well yeah. I did that."

Mercedes Catherine screamed again. "I love you so much!"

"Hey? I gotta go. I'm at work. I'll see you at school later."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye." Marceline Anne hung up and put away her phone. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone about anything not work related.

It wasn't their fault but she still wanted to tell her husband that she loved him. She didn't want him to hear it from anybody else, she didn't want to say it in public. She just had to let him know.

She chewed on her bottom lip. She had to let him know.

Jeanette went through the mail, wondering what the small letter in the bunch was. She set the rest aside and ran her nail under the flap to break the seal.

A single sheet of paper slid out so she read it. It was from her mother. Basically the letter stated they were going on vacation for winter break. There were details about where they were going and what days they'd be gone but it wasn't a request but a demand.

Jeanette went to her room to pick up her phone to call her mother. "Mother?"

"Jeanette." Xhi-Xhi answered.

"I received your letter in the mail. I don't understand."

"Understand that we are a family. We must spend time together."

Jeanette didn't want that! "Mother, I have grandchildren now."

"Yes?"

"I don't want to be separated from them."

"You will not be."

"Did you send a letter to Marceline Anne?"

"Of course not."

"Mother..."

"It was her idea! She gathered us together to do this."

"Who is us?"

"The grandmothers. Victoria and Christina are very nice."

"I don't understand. Marceline Anne gathered you all together to send us to Switzerland?"

"That is correct. She wants to make memories for her children so she devised a plan for it. She's a good mother, that one."

Jeanette wasn't sure how to respond at first. "So all the grandparents and the parents and the kids and the babies are going to Switzerland?"

"No. There are too many cousins, aunties and uncles to leave out. She wanted everyone to be together."

Jeanette gasped. "But that's thousands of people."
