Alex's POV

We got to the new house on the West side late last night, and my parents decided to only take the necessary things for the night and we would start unpacking tomorrow. I don't have to start school until Friday, which doesn't make sense to me, if I'm only going for one day why not start Monday but whatever, I don't have to take exams here because I took them a week earlier at my old school.

Since it's only Tuesday my mom and step-dad decided to have me and Josh start unpacking while they look for jobs closer to us. It's 8 a.m and my room is almost done, I just have to finish painting it and then help my brother paint his. He doesn't get a colorful room because he's moving out soon, lucky him.

The rest of the week went pretty much like Tuesday except for Friday, it is now Friday morning and I'm ready for school waiting for the bus to come get me. My mom told me the school was too far away so I couldn't ride my skateboard there. I'm one of the first ones on the bus so it'll be a long ride but I've got music to keep me entertained.

Sean's POV

Finally it's Friday, one more day then all I'll have to deal with is my parents no more assholes. I think I remember one of my teachers say we were getting a new kid today so that will suck. My parents decided to sleep in today I think, neither of them are up. My mom asked me to ride the bus today because of the rain, so I guess I'll ride the bus. I remembered to grab my headphones today, thank strawberries, I'm going to need them today. I've been sitting in my driveway for about 5 minutes waiting for the bus. Eventually it pulls up and the bus driver seems suprised to see me, I wouldn't blame her I haven't riden the bus since 8th grade. I started walking down the aisle when I see her, the girl that was sitting on the bench in the park, she's here, she must be the new girl.

She made eye contact with me, her eyes are so beautiful they're a really bright blue, like they used to shine of happiness, but now they look sad. She's wearing a Pierce the Veil shirt and black skinny jeans today. I didn't want to seem like I was staring so I kept walking to the back of the bus and sat down, she never looked back, but she seemed really upset.

Alex's POV

I was listening to Kissing in Cars by Pierce the Veil when we pulled up to this guys house, he wasn't like everyone else at this school, he had a Sleeping with Sirens shirt on and black skinny jeans, I was happy to not be the only 'different' person at this school. I was still upset about everything that happened, more upset than usual but I kept trying to stop myself from crying.

He started walking back and as he was walking down the aisle he saw me and we kept eye contact for a little to long, it felt like he was penetrating my wall and reading my soul. His eyes are a really dark choclolate brown, they're perfect for him. I think he sat somewhere close to the back of the bus, I don't know because I wouldn't let myself look back.

We got to the school shortly after and I let everyone off before me, except for that guy he wouldn't let me get off last, he kept gesturing for me to go so I finally did. I kept trying to say thank you to him but I'm to shy I couldn't do it, my anxiety was starting to act up knowing he was behind me so I started walking faster to the office to get my schedule.

Then I saw them, I halted to a stop, it was that group of jocks I encountered by the park, I didn't think they were juniors, I swore they were seniors. I didn't want them to see me so I started walking towards the office again, I got there and told them I was new and needed my schedule and locker number.

"Here is your schedule, your locker number and combination are at the top." The secretary explained.

"Thank you," I replied quietly.

"We've called down a student to show you around for the day, he should be here soon."

He, they chose to have a guy to show me around, that's weird usually they'll choose girls.

Sean's POV

I couldn't speak to her, I was trying to tell her to go ahed of me on the bus but I couldn't speak so I just kept using hand gestures. It worked though. I was following her into the school when she started speeding up, I didn't speed up too, but I could still see her and then she came to a stop like she was frozen, I kept walking until I saw what she was looking at. It was Jackson and his groupies, did she know them? How she's new? She eventually kept walking, even faster this time probably to avoid Jackson.

She was going to the office like all new kids so I went to my locker and headed to 1st period. As soon as I got to first period my teacher told me to go to the front desk.

"Sean, the office called and told me to send down a student to show the new girl around, would you do it?"

"Uh, yeah sure."

"Okay just head down to the office and bring her back, we chose you because your schedule is mirrored to hers."

We have the same schedule. I have to walk her around all day. I can't even talk to her. I started walking to the office not sure how I was going to do this, but I'll figure it out, I guess.
