'Alex's POV

For the rest of the day Sean walked me to my classes and we were laughing and smiling the whole time. I don't think I paid attention in any of my classes, except for art because art is life. Sean felt the same way so we drew our pictures in silence and then showed each other. He drew a picture of a lake with woods behind it, it gave off a secluded feeling. It was amazing, I drew a girl staring up at a rope tied to a tree, I don't know if he understood it but it looked like he did.

For the rest of the day he seemed a little out of it, I was worried but I brushed it off because I didn't want to intrude. We were on our way to the last period of the day when those guys from the street came up to us. I tensed up and it looked like Sean did too.

"Couldn't get enough of us huh bitch?" The main guy said.

"Leave her alone Jackson, if you want to harrass someone harass me," Sean stated.

I was surprised no ones ever done that before, but I couldn't let him get hurt over this. I'm not worth it.

"Oh look, old emo and new emo are dating, how cute. Remember when I told you we'd find something good to do to you Alex?" My name roled off his tongue menacingly.

I was scared, I didn't want to get hurt so I replied, "y-yes."

Sean stared at me and grabbed my arm, causing me to yelp while he was pulling me away. He looked back at me with sorrow and probably pity but he didn't say anything he just moved his hand to my hand and continued walking me.

Seans POV

S-she cuts herself, this beautiful creature destroys her body... I decided not to say anything in front of all of these people so I just slid my hand down to hers. Her hand fit in mine perfectly but it wasn't time to think about that. I could've let go of her I knew she'd follow but I didn't want to I had an excuse to touch her so I did. I'm not taking her to class, we're leaving to talk.

I started walking her out the door surprised when she just let me lead her out. She seemed glad to leave. Since her arm was in my view, I looked down at it, her shirt was turning a crimson red. Shit I hurt her. I continued to lead her out and walk to the park, I found a bench that was hidden from the school and sat her down.

"Pull up your sleeve." It came out a little harsher than I meant it to.

I let go of her hand so I didn't seem to creepy, but she didn't move after I did. She was staring blankly at her wrist so I grabbed her hand again so she couldn't pull away and slowly pulled her sleeve up. I wasn't looking at her arm at first I was looking in her eyes, I could tell she didn't want me to see but she wasn't going to resist because she knew that I knew what was there.

I finally looked down at her arm and almost started crying.

"W-why?" I whispered.

"Life." She stated it with no emotion.

I had every urge to kiss her scars but I knew I'd over step my boundaries if I did so I just hugged her really tight.

"Please, I am begging you never do this again, I care about you and I don't want to see you hurt, You're beautiful and you don't deserve this." I whispered in her ear.

Then she started crying, and she hugged me even tighter.

"No one has ever cared about me enough to notice."

I didn't care anymore I let go of her only to grab her arm again, I kissed every last one of her cuts, scars, and scabs. She was crying even harder now and then I had a thought.

"Alex, is this all of them?"

She looked down and didn't answer, she didn't need to. I knew that wasn't all of them. I grabbed a tissue out of my bag and started to cover her bleeding cuts and I heard her start crying.

"It's okay Alex I will help get you through this." I said to her and I pulled her close to me.
