Smurfstorm's POV
Wow, she took it well, I mean, I knew she would, but still, I was pleasantly surprised.
After we pulled back from the kiss, Smurfette looked at me with a wide smile on her face.
"You knew, didn't you?" Smurfette said, giggling a little bit.
"Yeah, I wanted it to be a surprise," I said, smirking a bit.
We kissed each other again and gave each other a hug.
"You sure you're okay with that?" Smurfette asked me after she pulled back.
"Hey, it'll be alright," I said, holding her shoulders in comfort.
"I hope so, I just don't wanna wreck my girlfriend's style," she said, bumping against me a bit.
I blushed a bit at that, brushing my hair back in embarrassment.
"So we still on for tonight?" Smurfette finally asked.
"Yeah, I'm free then. Meet you there at 7:00 tonight?" I asked.
"You bet," she said, walking towards the door, "don't forget to dress well,"
"Sure thing, sweetie," I said as she walked out.
Yep, Smurfette was my girlfriend alright. I wasn't really a fan of her at first when she found Smurfy Grove, but after she and Hefty broke up, I tried my best to comfort her, and then I realized something crazy: I loved her. It took me a while to muster up the courage to tell her, but eventually, I did, and luckily for me, she did too, to which she responded with our first kiss. We had been dating in secret for the past five years, but we didn't tell anyone, out of fear that they might hate us. I mean, we really did love each other, but we just didn't want anything to rip it apart badly.
Later that day, I grabbed my stuff and a small bag and headed out the door, making sure no one saw me as I went. I headed about and out of the Village to meet Smurfette for our date night. It took me three hours to get to my safe zone, which was a hole in a massive tree far from the village. As soon as I moved into the hole, I grabbed the bag and opened it to get what was inside: my dress for our date tonight.
It took only a few minutes to get ready, and after I finished, I looked in my hand mirror to see myself. I looked pretty nice, with a blue dress, some eyeliner, and a pair of high heels, which i wore to make her smile; perfect for a nice date night out.
"Looking good, Stormy!" a voice called from behind me.
I turned around sharply to that voice, only to be relieved when I saw who it was. It was Smurfette, with a long white dress with a pink bow on the side of her head.
"Oh, it's you," I said, relieved, "you look really pretty."
"You too," she said, blushing.
"Shall we, m'lady?" I asked, holding out my arm to her.
She took it and we walked the rest of the way, arm in arm, to our date spot, which was only half a mile away.
The spot where we picked our date was pretty neat. It was in a small, but well-established tavern where many mythical creatures like us hung out at. When we got there and went inside, it was pretty quiet, and only a few people were there.
Perfect, I thought to myself, means less judging eyes.
When we got there, the front clerk pulled out his little chart.
"Booth for two?" he asked.
"Yep, that's us," Smurfette said, "Our reservation's under the name Stormfette."
I looked at her, she blushed at that last part. I didn't mind it, in fact I actually like it, it sounded catchy.
"Of course, this way ladies," the clerk said, gesturing to us to our booth.
As soon as we got over there, we sat down right away, and they handed us our menus. We both ordered the same drink: Smurfberry juice with extra pulp.
"Of course," the waiter said, heading off, "enjoy yourselves, lovebirds."
