Smurfette's POV

I was so excited for this! I was finally gonna get married!

It was only moments away now, and I was all clad in my white dress with a sunflower in my hair, which I made sure matched Stormy's look. I wanted it to look the same so that we would be matching brides. Papa and all my friends from Smurf Village were there, too. Hefty arrived last, he had to check on something with Stormy real quick.

"She's good to go!" Hefty whispered.

I nodded and turned back to the alter. It was beautiful. The arch was covered with roses, the grass was freshly cut, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. At the archway, I saw Michael Robert's there, clad in a green robe with gold highlights. I was glad that they were, especially for me and Stormy today.

"You ready?" Papa asked me.

I looked at him, a joyful smile on my face.

"I was born ready," I said, veiling myself.

"Well, I'm glad you are," Papa said, "because it's time."

Suddenly, Harmony Smurf started playing "Here Comes The Bride," and all the other Smurfs started walking through, one from each side at a time.

Once they got through, I walked up to alter, my heart pounding and thoughts racing. I was so nervous, but at the same time excited. I just couldn't wait to get to big moment.

As soon as I made it to the alter, I turned to see Stormy walking towards me. Sure enough, I was right, both our outfits matched. She seemed as amused by it as I did.

When she got to the alter, we both unveiled ourselves. Stormy went first, removing my veil from my face, and then I did the same with hers. We both looked beautiful, but I think she had a bigger edge.

Then the ceremony began.

"Dearly Beloved Smurfs," Michael started, "we are gathered here today, on the most wondrous of days, to join Ms. Smurfette and Ms. Smurfstorm in the bonds of holy matrimony."

The crowd clamored silently for a moment, before he proceeded.

"Now, before we continue, if anyone has any reason why these two should not be joined together in the bonds of marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace."

No one spoke out against it. That was good. Almost everyone was okay with it, which I was fine with.

"Now then, we will allow the two newly weds to talk about their love, and express their emotions for all to hear."

I went first, taking Stormy's hand and looking her in the eye.

"Stormy," I said, "for the longest time, I had been searching for my identity. I was a lost girl in a very strange world, and I never thought I would make much difference. Then I met you, and you were a strong fighter, a born leader, and an all around amazing person to encounter. And when I was at a low, you helped me climb back out of it, you gave me someone I could always count on. In that same moment, you helped show me that I am in control of my own destiny, and now, you get to be a part of it with me. As of today, I vow to love you, to support you, to be your wife, and to lift you up as well whenever you're feeling down. I love you, Stormy."

Stormy was tearing up after hearing that speech, and they were tears of joy alright. After a moment of silence, she gathered her thoughts, took my hand, and started to speak.

"Smurfette," she told me, "Back when I was young, I was not always the best at opening up myself to other people. I was one of the older Smurflings in Smurfy Grove, and because of that, there was a lot of pressure put on me to be this role model to the other Smurfs around me. Because of that, I tended to toughen up and get a bit rough around the edges. Then when I fell in love with you, you managed to get me to do the impossible. I learned how to open my heart to people like you, and in return, you filled up my heart with all the love, compassion, and support a Smurf could ask for. As your wife, I vow to be there for you, to be open to you, and to be your rock when you may falter. You will always have my heart, Smurfette, now, and forever."

After that, now I was crying, her speech was just so beautiful. I looked back at her, we were both covered in tears now, but we both felt an immense wave of joy.

"Lovely words," Michael said, moved by both speeches, "Now it is time for the big part, you two ready?"

I looked at Stormy, who had a determined look in her eye. She nodded at me and I nodded back. We both knew the response.

"Yes, we're ready."
