Smurfstorm's POV

She proposed to me! She proposed to me! And I said yes! It was the happiest moment of my life, and I couldn't deny it. We were gonna get married!

We flew home after that, holding each other close as we flew across a vast ocean of clouds. I just thought about it the whole way home, how far we had come to this. And now, we were about to tie the knot.

"You okay?" Smurfette asked me.

"I'm beyond okay!" I said, still high on the happiness, "I'm overjoyed!"

"I'm glad you are," she said, holding me tight, "you already have some wedding ideas?"

"Yeah. Just one request, though."

"Yeah?"

"I want us to both wear matching white dresses."

"Done!" she said, giving me a kiss.

It took a while, but we finally made it back home, landing a safe distance away so no one would see us. We got off, and move stealthily along and around the village border, like a pair of love ninjas.

"You sure they'll take it well?" I asked Smurfette, scared about the other Smurfs' reaction.

"Yeah, it'll be alright," she told me, giving me a hug, "besides, what's the worst that could happen?"

"Are we interrupting you two lovebirds?" A voice called from behind us.

We both turned around sharp to that, to see a very shocking sight. It was Papa and Willow, and they seemed flaming mad.

"You two captains have got a lot of explaining to do," Papa said, sternly.

"And by that, he means you two are in a lot of Smurfing trouble," Willow added.

"Oh, Smurf," we both said, feeling defeated.

Back in their house, we just stood there as Papa and Willow yelled their faces off as they berated is for the whole dating thing and being in love.

"...and not once did you think about telling us!? About the fact you're both lesbians and dating!?" Papa said when he finished.

"In our defense, we figured this would be your go-to response," Smurfette said, trying to stand up for us.

"How could you not tell us? Especially about this?" Willow chimed in, equally upset but more interested in why.

"Because we were worried you would hate us and frankly, your response just proves we were right!" I said, having been fed up with this.

"Don't you get smart with me young lady!" Papa said, turning to Smurfette, "and you, of all the crazy things you've done, this one crosses the line!"

"Papa, come on!" Smurfette said, "we're adults now! You can't just force us to not be together!"

"I can and I will! This is the last time you two ever go out together!" Papa said, full of rage.

"Papa, reel it in a bit, please," Willow said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"It's too late for that!" he said, turning back to us, "and you two, you both need to start thinking about your actual futures!"

That set Smurfette off. She walked up to him and blurted our the truth.

"I am thinking about my future! My future with her! Stormy is the one who, after five years, still treats me better as her girlfriend than anyone else did, and she's the one who I realized I wanna spend my whole life with so decided to propose to her!"

That last word left their jaws wide open. Smurfette looked at me, wide eyed after that. I didn't hesitate, instead I told them the truth.

"And I said yes," I said.

"You proposed to her!?" Papa said, filled to the brim with rage, "without us even knowing!?"

Papa threw one of his jars in anger, shattering it into a million pieces.

"I cannot believe you two!" Willow said, upset but calm.

"Alright, you know what that's it!" Papa told us, looking at us with eyes of rage, "you two are both demoted from being co-captains and you are banned from dating forever!"

"You can't do that!" I said, getting fiesty.

"Yeah, you're crazy!" Smurfette added.

"Yeah well, too bad! It's my village and that means you will respect my rules and authority no matter how long it lasts!"

"Oh, yeah! Well...SMURF YOU!!!" Smurfette blurted out.

Papa stepped back in shock. One look from Smurfette and I knew we should leave. I took her hand and we headed out the door.

"Where do you think you're going, young ladies?!" Papa asked.

"Somewhere where you're not!" I called as I slammed the door.

Smurfette and I looked at each other as we walked away. We both knew what we had to do if we wanted to be together: we had to leave Smurf Village.
