After school, Eleven and Two walked home together on the sidewalk along the road.
"Should we worry about the things Five says?" Two asked Eleven.
"No. He has always been a bit.. you know what. He's going crazy, he was no idea what he's talking about." Eleven explained.
"But I'm his older brother.. I feel like older brothers have to support little brothers." Two gripped the straps of his backpack tighter.
"Not if you're little brother his a crazed serial killer. We always told him that he shouldn't take out his anger on other innocent people." Eleven slowly shook her head.
"But you have killed people too." Two looked over to Eleven.
"But not like him. I only kill people when they do bad." Eleven said.
"Like the lab workers?" Two asked.
"No. The only person who does bad in the lab is the CEO. Five just kills people because it makes him feel better."
"Eleven, he was 12 years old!"
"And he still is. He hasn't changed, Two." Eleven looked straight ahead.
"What are you saying?" Two looked straight ahead as well.
"I'm saying we need to take away his abilities and transfer them to someone who knows what they're talking about."
Eleven sighed.
A person was walking behind them who heard all of the words they spoke. It was Twelve. Twelve is one of the ones who likes Five. Twelve stopped in her tracks for a moment, to take in all of what they just discussed. She then ran the other direction.
She ran until she found Five sitting against a building writing in a notebook.
"Five?" She sat next to him.
"I need utter silence, Number Twelve." Five looked at Twelve.
"Then why did you pick in the middle of a town?" Twelve asked him. Five closed his eyes in annoyance and then looked at Twelve.
"You're here for a reason. What is it?" Five mumbled. Twelve suddenly remembered Ten was looking after Five. Twelve looked around. She spotted Ten behind a corner of a building watching Five. She motioned for Ten to come over. Ten rushed over and sat on the other side of Five. "What is going on here? Is this you're plan? To crush me?" Five squeezed his arm out from between him and Ten.
"No, but I'll tell you Elevens plan." Twelve said.
"Well? Start talking." Five sat his notebook down in front of him and looked over to Twelve.
"They are planning on taking all of your abilities away and giving them to someone else. Basically replacing you." Twelve said.
"But- they cant! I'm clearly superior over Eleven! All she has is Telekinesis!" Five panicked.
"You're so humble, Five." Twelve sarcastically said.
"I'm turning red.." Five sarcastically replied.
"There's nothing I can do for ya, Five. Come tomorrow, you won't be Five to us anymore." Twelve sighed. Five angrily picked up his notebook and stood up.
"Then enjoy living, Number Twelve, because you won't be living much longer." Five turned and stormed away.
Ten and Twelve looked at each other.
"We need to stop Eleven." Ten told Twelve.
"I agree. But we need to hurry." Twelve got up, followed by Ten. They both started running down the sidewalk towards Five. Twelve started to run faster in front of Ten. Twelve knew that she couldn't just let Five escape, so she ran up to him and tackled him to the ground. Five hit the side of his forehead off of the concrete. Twelve pinned Five down. She turned him so he was facing her face. Blood trickled down Fives face.
"You idiot!!" Five tried to get out of Twelves pin. "You need to hide! Eleven will be looking for you soon!" Twelve told him. Five teleported from under Twelves pin, to standing right in front of her.
"I will! Leave me alone." Five watched Twelve stand up. "Number Eleven will never find me." Five added.
"You better make sure." Twelve looked at Five and then walked away with Ten following her. Five slowly shook his head and quickly started walking down the sidewalk the opposite way of them. He took out a paper. It showed a man on it, as well as the mans name and where he lives. Five took a quick look at the paper before stuffing it back into his pocket. He realized if he was going to walk to this guys house, it would take all night. He needs another way of getting there.
He grabbed a stone and bashed in a car window. he reached in and unlocked it. He opened the car door. Lucky for him, the keys were inside. He started up the car. He looked at all of the buttons and the pedals. He's never drove before. He looked at the road in front of him with gleaming eyes as he put it in the right gear and pressed the gas pedal. He zoomed down the road.
About twenty minutes later, he reached the mans house. He tried to open the front door. It was locked. He teleported inside of the house. He slowly stepped on the floor boards.
"Who's there?!" He heard a man yell. The man turned the corner with a pistol. It was the man on the paper. The mans jaw dropped when he saw who it was.
"Number Five!" The man pointed the pistol at the floor.
"Hello, John. I'm glad to see you remember me." Five smiled.
"How did you escape from the lab? We had the best security.. we knew for a fact nobody could get in or out without permission!" John said.
"Oh, I have my ways." Fives all white eyes flickered like a broken tv.
"Do you want a drink? I have tea..?" John asked Five.
"That would be great." Five replied. But Five knew exactly what John was trying to do.
They both sat on Johns couch enjoying a cup of tea. When Five was finished with his tea, he placed the empty cup on the coffee table.
"Wow, tea makes you have to go! Do you mind if I use your restroom?" Five asked John.
"Oh, go right ahead!" John smiled. Five smiled back and got up. He walked into the bathroom and shut the door. He thought of what to do. He teleported from the bathroom to the kitchen. He slowly opened one of the drawers and grabbed a butcher knife. He snuck behind John. He quickly wrapped his arms around John and held the knife to his neck.
"Tell me anything you know about Number Eleven." Five gripped the knife tightly.
"She was the 11th child we tested! She has Telekinesis!" John spoke fast and panicked.
"Tell me more about what she can do with said Telekinesis.." Five growled.
"She can do weird stuff with her mind!" John started sweating.
"Specify." Five said, holding the knife even closer to Johns neck.
"She can make objects move with her mind and even kill people!" John specified.
"Can she take people's powers away with her mind? How about that John?" Five held the knife closer.
"Yes! Yes she can! She can suck it right out of them!" John cried.
"Good to know." Five took away the knife. John took deep breathes. "Just so you know.." Five walked around to in front of John. "Nobody is taking me back to that lab." Five quickly took the pistol from off of the coffee table and put a bullet right through Johns head. Five carefully put the knife back in the drawer. He took the pistol and put it in one of Johns hands. He took a piece of his notebook paper and ripped it out. He grabbed his pen and wrote,
"I'm sorry, I couldn't deal with the guilt anymore. Please forgive me."
Five put the note on the coffee table. He looked through the cabinets and took out a box of bandages. He put one on his forehead where the blood was still rushing down his face. Five rushed out of the house and into the car.
