Five and Zero appeared at the entrance of a huge building.
"This brings back memories.." Five mumbled.
Five followed Zero into the building. Five dodged people walking through the hallways. He noticed the books they were carrying said 'Dimensions Handbook'.
"What are those books that I see all of the student carrying?" Five asked Zero, who was walking directly in front of him.
"The handbook for dimensions. Everything you need to know to start off. It's basically a dictionary, but for dimensions." Zero didn't bother to turn around and face Five when she spoke. Five nodded his head.
"So every dimension is in that book?" Five asked her out of curiosity.
"Yep. It's in alphabetical order, too. Not to mention it also has a brief description of all of the dimensions." Zero smiled and looked straight ahead.
"Interesting.." Five looked at all of the students. They all looked straight ahead as they walked down the long hallways. He ran his finger under his nose as he looked forward to the long hallway ahead of them.
After a brisk walk, Zero turned into one of the classrooms.
"This is where you'll be teaching." Zero walked over to the teachers desk. Five gazed at the huge room.
"What am I teaching?" Five asked Zero, who was organizing books.
"You'll be teaching about Dimension Jumping." Zero told him.
"Why don't you just teach that subject yourself? You said it yourself, you know more than me." Five ran his hand against the wooden desk.
"I have important business to attend to during class hours. It just wouldn't work out." Zero finished stacking the thick books on top of each other.
"Important business?" Five questioned.
"Correct! I'm actually president of the The Matrix Control Center believe it or not." Zero proudly smiled as she slid the books to the corner of the desk.
"That's good to know." Five tapped his finger against his chin and nodded.
"I suppose it is. Now you'll know where to find me." Zero slapped her hands together. Dust flew in the air like millions of particles.
"Notice anything off in The Matrix lately?" Five leaned against the desk and looked deeply at Zero.
"Nope. Everything is where it should be." Zero sat in the chair of the desk. She put her elbows on the surface and set her chin on her fist. Five leaned on top of the desk as he got closer to Zero's face.
"Are you sure? Because I've been feeling odd lately.. like a gut feeling, you know?" Five's eyes ominously flickered. Zero's happy expression slowly faded into a worrisome frown. Right before Five finally thought he could break her, her face lit up again.
"Aren't you just so cute!" She said, pressing her finger against Five's nose. Five closed his eyes and sighed as he stood straight again.
"Thanks." Five looked away from Zero as he ran his fingers through his hair. "If you don't mind, I would like to be alone." Five looked at all of the desks.
"No problem. If you need me, I'll be in my office." Zero sat up and waved farewell to Five. She walked out of the classroom, leaving Five by himself.
"Nothing can stop me now." Five smirked as he pulled out a pistol and a grenade from his pants.
Five peeked out of his classroom. He looked at all do the passing by students. He quickly jumped out of the room and into the crowd. He quickly slid through the kids. He squinted his growing red eyes as he saw Zero's office up ahead. He ran up to the door and knocked a few times. The door opened on its own right in front of Fives flickering eyes.
"Number Five! Visiting already? What's the problem?" Zero greeted Five from her big desk. He put his hands behind his back as he stepped inside of the room. He limped over and stood right in front of her big wooden desk. He saw the door close behind him in the corner of his eye.
"I was just wondering.. are the doors sound proof in this facility?" Five asked Zero, who was fixing her hair.
"Yes, they actually are. Why would you ask such a question?" Zero asked Five as she put her hands back down on the desk.
"So they won't interrupt your murder." Five said seconds before he tore out the pistol. Zero's pitch black eyes widened at Five took his first shot. She dodged just in time so the pistol wouldn't nail her in the brain. The bullet pierced the wall behind her. Five fired a few more shots, missing all of them. Suddenly, Zero's body faded away. Everything but her eyes were visible. He continued to shoot at her. Then, her eyes faded away too. He looked around The room, trying to outsmart the smarter. He saw that the crowbar that was once on the wall was gone. Suddenly, Zero was visible. She lounged on top of Five within a heartbeat. She held Fives neck against the desk with the crowbar. He struggled to breath with the heavy metal weapon pressed down on his neck. He gasped for breathe like a fish out of water. He closed his eyes and kicked her in the bladder. She let go of his neck and stumbled back a few feet. For the first time, Five could see anger written all over her face. She charged at Five, but Five punched her in the jaw. She tripped to the floor, but quickly regained her balance. Before Five could react, she grabbed his head and nailed it into the corner of the desk. He fell onto the floor, a sharp pain on his forehead. It hurt so bad, his forehead had a heartbeat. He didn't bother to get up as he felt the blood trickle down his face. She looked over his body.
"Don't even try, Number Five. You're nothing but a foolish child that cries when he doesn't get his way." Zero taunted him with a smile. Five pressed his lips together as he swiftly tripped her with his leg. She fell onto the floor, landing on her back. She groaned as she felt the pain swell in her back. Five stood over her body this time, the blood from his forehead landing on her face. He placed his foot on her chest.
"You're one of us. Why don't you leave this place and come live with me?" Five asked her as he sniffled in pain.
"And be at better risk of the lab finding us? I don't think so!" She struggled to get out. Five pressed down on her chest even more.
"It's either that or you will get killed." Five reached into his back pocket.
"By who?" Zero clenched her teeth tightly. Five pulled out the grenade.
"By me." Five pulled the pin and set it next to her. He kept his foot on her chest as it blew up the whole room with both of them inside of it.
