Chapter 1 Meeting

The team has separated to different places for rest since a year ago.

Amytis and Jace went to Greece and took some time off from fighting; Andy headed to South Africa; Nicky and Joe traveled to Eastern Turkey; Booker traveled around the world, you can't tell where was he going and when was he leaving.

But there's a job and this phone call that the team picked up was a change to their life.

Amytis and Jace is hanging around in the country that they used to live two thousand years ago. Amytis is looking at the view of the beautiful Aegean Sea while Jace is making breakfast for her. The house is full of tranquility and sweetness, but the phone call from Booker has interrupted the quiet morning.

Amytis picks up the phone, 'hey, Booker. What's up?' 'This is a job, I need you and Jace come to Morocco. Others will arrive in two days.' Booker says calmly.

'Great, I will see you all in two days.' She answers calmly and gets off the phone as soon as Booker tells her the meeting point.

Jace hands the one of the plate to Amytis and asks, 'Booker?' She takes the plate and kisses Jace's lips, 'yep, he said we got a job. But I thought Andy won't take any job recently.'

And they know the 'recent' in their life means a decade but not a few months.

Jaces kisses Amytis back, 'that's not the thing we should be worried about. Andy is always wise, we just need to support her and trust her.'

'I can tell, what happened a year ago truly bother her, a lot.' Amytis sits down and says worriedly. Jace looks at her and he knows she is just worrying about her sister who raised her and literally gave everything to her and so does him, he also worries about Andy. How Andy reacts about what happened a year ago, is filled with Andy's frustration and it makes everyone worries about her.

Jace hugs Amytis tightly, tries to comfort her a bit. 'let's finish the breakfast and pack out stuff, we are going to see our family.' Jace comforts Amytis and kisses her cheek.

They finish the breakfast and move into the bedroom, packing clothes and weapons.

Amytis takes out a gladius, she fiddles the sword. This is her weapon, which has been with her thousands of years since she first started to fight in the battlefield. Jace packed all the stuff that they need for this trip, he sees Amytis drifts off and fiddles with her gladius. He gets closer to her and wraps his arms around her waist from the back, 'hey, it all gonna be fine. We will see Nicky and Joe, we'll see Booker and we'll see Andy.' He kisses her head gently, comforts her as he always does.

-Two days later-

Amytis and Jace arrive the hotel room that Booker mentioned in the call, Jace knocks on the door. Nicky opens the door and he sees Amytis and Jace are standing outside of their room, Nicky gives Amytis a big hug, 'hey princess, miss you so much.' Amytis hugs him back, 'miss you too.' They get in the hotel room, Joe hugs Amytis and lifts her up.

Jace throws the luggage on the ground and hugs Nicky and Joe. They sit on the couch, talks about where they went and the fun of traveling to different countries last year and wait for Booker and Andy.
