The Wellston girl dormitories were quiet as usual as each girl slept from the smartest, to the dumbest and the most powerful to the weakest. However, there was one girl there who was different...A girl who lost so much...power....family...and most importantly, her best friend....Seraphina still cared for John but he completely changed. From the moment she confronted him he turned on her, claiming she was like Claire...As she lay in her bed she couldn't help but think about the Safehouse...Terrence had barely talked to anyone....and Seraphina couldn't get ANYTHING out of him... 'It's like trying to deal with a spineless fish...WHY doesn't he say ANYTHING?' she thought, frustrated. It had been five months since the incident and Seraphina had completely adapted to the 'cripple' montage. But when John turned on her, her heart felt as if it was going to stop beating like a heart attack. John, her BEST friend...didn't care for her anymore...she realized in sharp pain. As she sadly grabbed the funny picture of John and her at Konovro Mall, she started crying. In this picture, not only did she have her ability back, she was with a different John, and John who wore a ridiculous helmet, a John who was all genuine, a John who was happy...                                                                                                                                                    As she thought about her happy, old memories, her thoughts went to school and her grades. Seraphina sighed. Grades and good marks couldn't help her. Only her complex, amazingly strong ability could and it was no use. She still hadn't found the antidote...

"Good morning Seraphina!" cried Elaine happily as she yawned. "Hey." Seraphina replied back calmly. Seraphina might've looked all prepared and calm on the outside, but on the inside, she was a COMPLETE jittery mess. Last night a thought struck her. Terrence knew about Remi's, Blyke's, and Isen's incident and needless to say also must've gotten MANY facts and history that they probably prefered to keep PRIVATE! The thought was so brilliant that Sera stayed the WHOLE night trying to add more to her sudden idea. Eaine however, cringed as Sera greeted her with VERY dark, panda eyes. "What in the world happened!" Elaine shrieked in shock, examining Seraphina. 'Overreaction...Don't blame her though, I WAS the strongest Ace Wellston had...' thought Seraphina sadly. "Hey you okay?" asked Elaine curiously looking at her friend. "Yes." sighed Seraphina as she dressed herself in her uniform. Then she head to the high school, excitement and dread in her.

"Ahhhh Seraphina! Welcome back to class! It's wonderful to have you back! Hope you are as promising when you were in my class!" cried Miss Marabella, beaming at Seraphina. Seraphina smiled back. She had almost forgotten about this bright, cheerful women that had always praised her about her wonderful marks and given her many tests. 'Hmmm, judging by those low-tiers, they seem pretty afraid of me...UGH, if I had my ability then it would've been MUCH easier to stop this horror' thought Seraphina as she scanned the area. As she listened to the mathematics and history, her head dove into old memories of Seraphina's past..

"Sera! Come on it'll be fun! Plus mom and dad aren't watching us!" cried 10 year old Leliah, tugging her sister. "No." replied Seraphina standing still watching her sister skip around the photo booth."HMPH!" grumped Leliah, her two light purple buns bouncing around. Seraphina sighed 'Leliah if you do this, your get in trouble! Plus were already high-tiers! You have to show everyone around us that we should be respected! Mother and father would be so disgraced if you went in there!' thought five year old Seraphina as she told her sister "Leliah, you'll get in trouble remember! Plus, if you do go in there, mom and dad won't let you go to the China for our history lesson!" whispered Seraphina as she watched her two stern parents paying for the tickets. "OOOOOHHHH, you do care about me!" giggled Leliah as she patted her little sister's head. Seraphina grumbled. "OF COURSE I care for you! Your my sister! I love you a lot!" cried Seraphina flailing her arms. Leliah smiled and held her sisters hand happily. Seraphina's face stayed cold but in her heart, she was happier then the strongest god-tier ever alive. Suddenly, their parents turned around and as quick as a tornado, all of Leliah's fun, outgoing personality changed. She stood still but still waved to the cold glared of her mom, Narisa. Narisa just glared at her 'failure daughter' and gave an approving nod to Seraphina who stood still, acknowledging her prescence. Leliah sighed as she dropped her welcoming hand and for the slightest moment, Seraphina thought she saw small, pearly tears. But she quickly shook off the thought and stopped staring at her heartbroken sister. Little did she know that soon, her sister would escape the lifeless house and never come back again..

It was a good thing that Seraphina's stupor stopped because the teacher called her up to give a dedicated lecture about math and a call up for her to answer a few history problems. Seraphina did this with ease and soon class ended. 'They're gonna need to find MUCH harder subjects if they want me to go ahead..' thought Seraphina as she walked down the hallway carefully away from some of the trouble some mid-tiers. 'I can't trust those unreliable authorites anymore! They are probably working for EMBER! I can't listen to them!' she thought with helplessness. Seraphina had NO powers and in her world, no powers meant NO authority and that meant she was left with her last resource... Wits, good grades, low-tier friends? No. Remi and her friends! She heard that they had some interesting things to help her, with their risky research...and VIGILANTE research!

Meanwhile, Blyke was struggling with the crazy, amplified Elite-tier who was now a high-tier. Blyke was dashing from one side to another trying to shoot a bunch of lasers at the uncontrollable man. The yellow hued circles were slashing at him and rarely, Blyke was able to get a few shots. 'How can I defeat him?' he thought as he dodged another rolling circle. Suddenly, while Blyke was caught off guard a yellow circle went right in front of him. 'SHIIIIIIIIIIITTT!' he thought. 'How am I gonna dodge that?'

Hey guys, do you think Blyke can escape? Do you think Sera can get her powers back? I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter! BYYYEEEEE!!!
