We left the house and drove to a restaurant down the road. The restaurant was really fancy. After we all sat down to eat the waiter brought us menus. Together me and Nyx ordered three sirloin steaks medium well, two mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, some French fries, a salad, and five different deserts. Andrew and Lucas didn't order as much. Lucas got an onion thing that came out looking like a flower and a T-bone steak with shrimp on top of it and Andrew ordered a thing of wings and a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. After we all finished eating we went back to the house. Once we got there Nyx was already asleep, so doc had to tote her inside. I made it up the steps and into the doorway.
"Where'd you take Nyx? And where is everyone sleeping?"
"You and Nyx have the two rooms at the end of the all on the second floor. Nyx's is on the left so that's where I put her and yours is on the right. Me and Andrew will sleep in the rooms down here on the first floor. I'm going to choose mine now."
I nodded as he walked off and then felt myself falling.
"Easy now," I heard a Andrew's voice say far away.
He scooped me up bridal style and carried me up the stairs while I nuzzled my face in his neck. Just then I heard his heart beat and it made me hungry. I moved my head to his shoulder and squeezed my arms around his neck tighter trying to stall myself long enough that he would put me down and I wouldn't bite him. We entered what I assume was my room and he sat me gently on the bed before kneeling in front of me.
"I trust you can control yourself not to kill me. So go ahead and take a bite."
"I only just learned I'm a half vampire and you want me to bite you?"
"You'll stop. You won't kill me. I know it."
"How?"
"Because your part angel too."
"Mmmm," I say biting my lip.
"It'll heal you faster. And you need to be healed for your training tomorrow so you can learn to win this fight and take back the kingdom."
"But what if I hurt you? I already got you shot."
"So your going to let you kingdom die because your scared your gonna hurt me?"
"Fine. But you said do it. So whatever happens is your fault."
"I can handle that," he laughed.
I slowly leaned forward to his neck and as I did his heartbeat got louder and my hunger grew stronger.
~Only a little. Please let me only drink a little.~
I hovered over his neck, and I felt my fangs come out. Before I bit him I asked one last time to try and get him to stop me.
"Are you sure this is okay?"
"Yes. I'll be fine."
"Okay," I whispered and then I bit his neck.
Instantly his blood flowed into my mouth. It was delicious. I started to drink it and I could feel my body repairing itself. After a few seconds I felt better, but now I had to stop myself. I kept repeating in my head 'stop' and eventually my fangs receded. I pulled back and looked Andrew in the eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. I told you that you would stop."
I rolled my eyes and smiled before looking at him seriously.
"That is to never happen again. I don't care if I'm dying. Never again."
"Sorry but if your dying I'm gonna help. That's kind of the angel part of me being a fallen angel."
"No. It can't happen again. I may not be able to stop next time. So promise me. Promise me that there's no more blood drinking."
"I don't know what your training will entail so I will promise you this instead. I promise that there will be no more unless it is required of you training. So like if Lucas makes you drink blood in order to learn when to stop and self control and all that."
"I guess that works as a deal for now. Are you going to your room now?"
"Yes. Just give me a few minutes please. I feel slightly light headed."
"I knew it lair. I did drink too much."
"I-"
"Just hush. You can lay here until you feel better. Stay right there and I'll make you a pallet."I find a bunch of extra covers, comforters, blankets, throws and pillows. I then put them all together and make a pallet of the floor not too far from where Andrew was. I finish it and walk over to Andrew.
"I need you to walk or crawl over there. I'll help as best as I can. Ready?"
"Yea."
He stood wobbly and I held onto him. I guided him the five steps over to his pallet and helped him lay down. I knelt beside him and covered him up.
"Rest here until you get enough strength to walk to your room."
"Okay."
I stood up and walked over to my bed and laid down.
"Goodnight," I told him closing my eyes.
"Goodnight."
I slowly drifted off into sleep. Dreaming of what training tomorrow will look like and of what the future may hold."
