the day i dreaded had finally come, i was going to school. i was awake, dressed and already headed downstairs for breakfast and i couldn't believe myself.

last night i had done some planning in my head on ideas to skip school and everything was thought out perfectly, but here i was at the kitchen table, devouring my cold bread, boiled eggs and stew.

usually the breakfast i enjoyed consisted of just bread and butter but mother had said "it's not good to learn on a empty stomach". as if i wanted to even learn, but i still obeyed on what i was told. i was halfway finished my stew when i heard a knock at the door,

"y/n why don't you get the door", i nodded and opened the door to be met by diana, beside her was a girl who had beautiful red locks and countless freckles splattered across her face. "y/n, it's been a while, i've missed you, as Diana hugs y/n tightly. "i've missed you as well, it's so good to see you again", as y/n hugs diana tightly back as well.

they both separate from their tender hug and into conversation, "y/n this is my best friend anne with an e, anne this is y/n and y/n this is anne". "it's a pleasure to finally meet you y/n, diana has told me many great stories about your friendship and i hope we could also become the of best friends" as anne's cold hands y/n's warm ones. "well anne with an e, it's lovely to meet you as well and i believe we will be the best of friends".

if it weren't for anne's talkative personality y/n wouldn't be willingly to open up about herself. she never had a friend like anne who didn't start small talk and was able to listen to on what y/n had to say.

it made y/n very fond of her, she had learned anne was quite intelligent with her way of words and it made conversation much more interesting to listen to.

anne, y/n, and diana got along exceptionally well and clicked faster than she had thought. their time together made her forget all about her worries that they haven't realized how quickly they had already arrived at school.
