Clarke Griffen:

The chilly air sends goosebumps up my back. More and more people have been caught not doing their chores and instead, they hang around the fire. I stand outside the drop-ship, engulfing the outstanding sight of the twinkling stars. I'm grateful that I'm down on earth instead of being cooped up in a space station, but it's so much harder to trust people and and the stories your told down here.

"Clarke," I hear Ali say behind me. I still don't believe this whole sister fairytale. It is against the law to have a sibling, and my mom is on the leadership board! But Bellamy once told me, that if you have a fear or uncertainty, to face it and take in the outcome; even if it means to slay your demons. I turn and face Ali. "I know that your struggling right know, but please, hear me out."

"I'm trying." I say quietly, a tear rolling down my cheek. She looks at me with love. A look that says, everything is going to be alright. I allow Ali to brush the tear away. Her stroke is gentle, yet it makes sure not to leave any sign that there was a tear anywhere.

"Everything that Bellamy told you was true. I did float myself just for you, mom and-" her voice is cut of by the worried expression that paints her face.

"And dad." I finish. A wide eyed Ali stares at me. "What? What is it? What's wrong with dad?" I shake her shoulders repeatedly, trying to shake her out of her daze. He was floated probably after Ali. (that is if Ali was floated) She tries to sit up but I push her back down.

"We have to go save him. They still have him." She tries to sit up, a moan escaping her mouth. She puts her hand in her stomach, reveal blood. She ripped her stitches.

"Your not going anywhere anyways." I carefully wipe her stomach. She grasps my wrist with a tight grip. Her fearful eyes are replaced with a look of rage and vengeance.

"Clarke, our dad is still alive!" I stare into her sharp blue eyes with unbelief. "But they still have him."

"Who has him."

"Mountain men."
